Announcement of the decision to merge Hai Duong University and Hai Duong College

DNHN - 12 June, in the morning, the provincial People's Committee of Hai Duong announced the Prime Minister's decision to merge Hai Duong College and Hai Duong University.

Secretary of the Provincial Party Committee of Hai Duong Province Tran Duc Thang thanked the Government and the Ministry of Education and Training for their attention to the project of merging Hai Duong College and Hai Duong University. The decision to merge the two schools marked a new step in human resource training, bringing the province's higher education to a new stage of development.
The merger of Hai Duong College, formerly known as Hai Hung Pedagogical College, into Hai Duong University, is intended to promote the strengths of the two schools, streamline the focal point, and establish the university as a multi-disciplinary training institution. Promoting internal resources in developing human resources for the development of the province, and especially assisting the province in immediately training a contingent of university-level teachers, is a very prudent and proactive course of action. In the province of Hai Duong and the nation as a whole, there is still a shortage of educators at many levels, from preschool to high school.

The Secretary of the Provincial Party Committee of Hai Duong expressed his hope that, on its new path, Hai Duong University will continue to receive the attention of the government, ministries, and branches as it strives to become a key and quality university. High quality, meets the needs of local human resource development, gradually enhancing the quality of education and training in the province, and befitting the cultural heritage of the land of Hai Duong.
After the merger, there are four campuses at Hai Duong University, with the main office located in the southern urban area of Hai Duong City. The school is comprised of eight functional rooms, eleven faculties, two centers (the Centre for Informatics - Foreign Languages and the Centre for Joint Training and Retraining), and four Kindergartens and High Schools.
The school offers two master's-level training majors: Accounting and Economic Management, as well as 18 formal university-level training majors and one regular college-level training major in early childhood education.

Kindergarten Education, Primary Education, Math Pedagogy, Literature Pedagogy, English Pedagogy, and Natural Science Pedagogy are among the six new majors for university-level teacher training offered by the institution.
At the ceremony, Minister of Education and Training Nguyen Kim Son informed the school's leadership of the Prime Minister's decision to merge Hai Duong College and Hai Duong University.
At the event, Hai Duong University, Hanoi University of Science and Technology, and the Hai Duong Province Management Board of Industrial Parks signed an agreement for cooperation in training high-quality human resources and conducting innovative research. new and innovative to serve industrial park development
