DNHN - On August 8, Vietnam National Payment Joint Stock Company (Napas) expanded its network by launching the Napas247 Quick Transfer service using the VietQR code with 5 more banks.

This is also Napas' sixth expansion since the June introduction of the Napas247 Quick Money Transfer service using the code VietQR. With this development, Napas has raised the total number of member banks offering services to people to 40 member banks, accounting for 99.29% of the market share of providing Napas247 Quick Money Transfer service.
Saigon Hanoi Commercial Joint Stock Bank (SHB), Vietnam Cooperative Bank (Co-op Bank), Kasikornbank Limited - Ho Chi Minh City Branch, Woori Bank Vietnam One Member Limited, and CIMB Bank Vietnam Limited are the banks that have recently introduced the aforesaid service (CIMB Vietnam).
Customers of these five banks will be able to utilize the transfer service or make payments to other bank accounts by scanning the VietQR code on their mobile banking app.
Customers who establish an account at any bank in the Napas system may receive money by creating a personal VietQR code at the website vietqr.net. Users will not need to input the recipient's personal information or the money to be sent; instead, they will just scan the VietQR code and follow the on-screen instructions.
Payment transactions are performed promptly, anytime, and anywhere, even after hours and on weekends, with a maximum transaction limit of VND 500 million.
After just one year on the market, the Napas247 quick transfer service with VietQR code has more than 3 million customers. In the first half of 2022, the number of transactions increased by 70% on average every month, with the overall number of transactions being 15 times larger than in 2021.
