"Coffee Industry Expo 2023" was held within the framework of "The 8th Coffee Festival 2023" with the theme "Buon Ma Thuot Coffee - Steady integration". The fair takes place from March 10-14.
Speaking at the opening of the fair, Mr. Vo Van Canh, Vice Chairman of Dak Lak Provincial People's Committee, said that coffee is an agricultural product that plays a very important role in socio-economic life, providing the main source of income for farmers. farmers in the Central Highlands in general and Dak Lak province in particular.

The fair was held in the city of Buon Ma Thuot and was the convergence of the mountains and forests, blending the diverse cultural characteristics of 49 ethnic groups living in Dak Lak province, particularly in Dak Lak province. "Following the success of the coffee trade fair in previous years, the "Coffee Industry Expo 2023" has a special significance, to promote the Buon Ma Thuot coffee brand to foreign tourists and friends. This is also an opportunity for businesses and investors to exchange and promote products, associate and develop cooperation, market expansion, and invest cooperation; create conditions for coffee businesses to promote their brands, introduce products, and enhance their knowledge of coffee production and processing; and contribute to the economic development of the Central Highlands region in particular and the country as a whole.

Mr. Vu Ba Phu, Director of the Trade Promotion Department, Ministry of Industry and Trade, shared at the opening ceremony that, as the second largest producer and exporter of coffee in the world, coffee products from Our country have been exported to over 80 countries and territories, with an export volume of nearly 1.8 million tons and a turnover value of over USD 4 billion. However, the international coffee trade still does not reflect Vietnam's potential and advantages. The Government assigned the Ministry of Industry and Trade primary responsibility for formulating a propaganda program and coordination with other ministries, branches, and localities.
