DNHN - Viet Nam International Sourcing 2023 brings together approximately 300 companies from diverse industries to actively participate in the global production and supply chain for goods.
On September 13, an important event entitled "Connecting the international supply chain of goods" (Vietnam International Sourcing 2023) was inaugurated in the city by the Ministry of Industry and Trade and the Ho Chi Minh City People's Committee. Mr. Do Thang Hai, Deputy Minister of Industry and Trade, announced that Vietnam has achieved a total export and import turnover of up to 435.23 billion USD in the first eight months of 2023. Although there was a slight decrease in exports compared to the same period last year, this represents significant efforts of domestic industries and businesses.

The event brings together approximately 300 businesses from various industries to actively participate in the global production and supply chain. This is a crucial step in adapting to the growing trend of international economic integration, as well as creating opportunities to link international distribution channels, importers, and exporting businesses. The series of events includes many significant activities, such as the Export Forum "Connecting the International Supply Chain of Goods," the seminar "Connecting the International Supply Chain of Goods," and the exhibition "Connecting the International Supply Chain of Goods - Viet Nam International Sourcing Expo 2023."
The event attracted unprecedented interest and participation from major global corporations, including Aeon, Uniqlo (Japan), Walmart, Amazon, Boeing, AES (USA), Carrefour, Decathlon (France), Central Group (Thailand), Coppel (Mexico), IKEA (Sweden), and LuLu (UAE), as well as hundreds of international businesses and buyers from over 25 nations and territories.
Participating businesses at Viet Nam International Sourcing 2023 are carefully chosen to introduce high-quality products in Vietnam's strong sectors, including food, textiles, footwear, backpacks, and bags, sporting goods and picnics, household appliances and furniture, and supporting industries.
This event is part of the Prime Minister-approved Project "Promoting Vietnamese enterprises to directly participate in foreign distribution networks until 2030." Not only is it an opportunity to promote exports and develop international markets, but it is also a place for businesses to learn, share experiences, and establish vital connections.
