The General Department of Customs said that this agency assigned customs departments of provinces and cities to carry out a post-clearance inspection for 202 enterprises under 7 topics in the first 6 months of 2022.

Includes: Topics of imported goods with 2 tax rates; thematic drug and drug production materials imported; specialized in tires for cargo cars, tractors, semi-trailers; thematic import scrap; thematic import of used machinery and equipment; specializes in the origin of exports to the US and the origin of exports to India, based on research and assessment of risk signs in several areas of customs management.

Entering 2022, despite continued exposure to the Covid-19 pandemic, the General The Customs Department drastically and effectively implemented thematic, key, and key tasks in post-clearance inspection right from the start of the year, to ensure the requirements for state management of customs and perform only urgent tasks arising in management. 

Specifically, implementing Directive 439/CT-TCHQ dated February 11, 2022 of the D,director General of the General Department of Customs on the synchronous and drastic implementation of trade facilitation solutions, improving the effectiveness of state management, combating revenue loss in implementing the state budget collection task in 2022 with 11 specific solutions on developing orientation plans; building legal institutions; tax Administration; directing post-clearance inspection activities at the Customs Departments of provinces and cities and providing training. 

In addition, continuing to develop and finalize the Decision amending Decision 575, in which, integrating priority business management processes in the direction of handling existing problems, ensuring appropriateness with the provisions of the law, can manage officials and civil servants in the performance of post-clearance inspection tasks, avoiding negative consequences.

73 firms have been designated as priority enterprises to date, enabling them to take advantage of several advantageous import and export procedures while also strengthening their position with partners.
