DNHN - The Ministry of Information and Communications announced the results of the Digital Transformation Index (DTI) for the year 2022 on the afternoon of July 12 at the Conference to review the first six months of 2023 on national digital transformation
Accordingly, Quang Ngai province was ranked 26th out of 63 provinces and cities in the country, an increase of 34 positions from 2021.
Three pillars comprise the provincial DTI structure: digital government, digital economy, and digital society. Quang Ngai ranks 17/63 in digital government, 17/63 in digital economy, and 15/63 in digital society, according to the assessment.
According to a report by the Department of Information and Communications (TT & TT), by 2022, 100 percent of state agencies at the provincial, district, and commune levels will implement the use of shared administration and electronic document management software (https://ioffice.quangngai.gov.vn) using a centralized model, four levels of communication, and digital signatures to exchange electronic documents.
In 2022, the rate of online applications steadily increased across all industries. During the year, more than 48 thousand online applications were received and processed, a 56% increase from the previous year. 688 partially and fully online public services (DVCs) have been integrated into the National DVC Portal, along with nearly 250 online payment procedures.
In addition, the province is officially linked to the National Population Database maintained by the Ministry of Public Safety. Consequently, citizens can use their VNPOST National DVC Portal or VneID credentials to perform administrative tasks.
To effectively implement the administrative reform task for the province in 2023, the People's Committee of Quang Ngai province issued the administrative reform plan at the start of the year. In which sixty specific tasks are proposed for administrative reform in all areas.
In the newly released ranking, Quang Ngai province ranked 26th out of 63 provinces and cities in Vietnam, a 34-place improvement from 2021.
