DNHN - Deploying a chatbot system to support tourism information is a crucial component of upgrading and enhancing Ho Chi Minh City's technology to provide tourists with tourism information efficiently and conveniently.
The Ho Chi Minh City Department of Tourism has just announced the results of implementing the Smart Tourism Development Project from 2020 to 2025, with the ultimate goal of reaching 2030. One of the most notable aspects of this initiative is the deployment of a chatbot system to support Tourism information for residents and visitors.
The tourism industry in Ho Chi Minh City has been actively applying and enhancing numerous information technology applications. Applications such as "Online Department of Tourism", "Online Civil Servants", and "Ho Chi Minh City Tourism" have made it easier for residents and tourists to access tourism-related information. Simultaneously, the modernization of the Department of Tourism's electronic information portal and the city's tourism introduction website has generated numerous opportunities for tourism information exchange and interaction.

The Ho Chi Minh City Department of Tourism has also utilized 3D technology to recreate the cityscape from above, providing visitors with an immersive and visual experience. Providing tourism information through portal 1022 branch number 8 enables tourists to interact with local authorities and assess the quality and safety of tourism in the city.
The project also focuses on updating tourism resources on the Google Earth and Google Map platforms, as well as introducing tourism-related products to e-commerce marketplaces such as Shopee and Traveloka.
The deployment of a chatbot system to support tourism information will be one of the most significant solutions. This is a crucial aspect of upgrading and improving technology to provide visitors with tourism information efficiently and conveniently. In the future, this is expected to enhance the travel experience and promote Ho Chi Minh City's tourism industry.
