Five Vietnamese individuals were included on the 'Forbes Under 30 Asia 2022' list

DNHN - The Forbes Under 30 Asia 2022 list was compiled from more than 4,000 nominations, but only 300 individuals were authorized by Forbes reporters and the jury in the assessment and selection board.
Vietnam has 5 honoured representatives this year, including Tran Thi Bich Ngoc (arts), Coin98 Finance CEO Nguyen The Vinh (finance & venture capital), Phenikaa MaaS CEO Le Yen Thanh (industry, manufacturing & energy), VinBus CEO Nguyen Van Thanh (industry, manufacturing & energy), and TomTex designer Uyen Tran (industry, manufacturing & energy).

Tran Thi Bich Ngoc, "tattoo artist" (Ngoc Like)

Since 2013, when she was 19 years old, Tran Thi Bich Ngoc has been transforming trauma scars into pieces of art, per Forbes. Bich Ngoc feels that hiding wounds with beautiful tattoos may be part of the healing process, empowering individuals, particularly women, to begin a brighter chapter in their lives. This year, Ngoc earned a Master of Arts in Film and Television Arts from the Hanoi University of Theater and Cinema.
Nguyen The Vinh - co-founder and Chief Executive Officer of Coin98 Finance

Coin98 Finance is a pioneering blockchain technology-focused firm. Coin98 got a strategic investment from Binance Labs in January 2022, although the size of this investment has not been published. In 2021, Coin98 completes a $1.25 million seed round. Previously, Nguyen The Vinh worked as a software engineer at FPT Software HCMC and as a co-founder and manager of the bitcoin investment business VIC Group.
Le Yen Thanh - CEO Phenikaa MaaS

He founded the BusMap Project, a public transit application, from which Phenikaa MaaS Company, which specializes in intelligent mobility solutions, evolved. BusMap released Covid-19 epidemiological maps for 18 provinces and cities in Vietnam using its core technology. Midway through 2021, Phenikaa Group will invest $1.5 million in the firm, which plans to expand throughout Southeast Asia, beginning in Thailand.
Nguyen Van Thanh - CEO of VinBus

Forbes reports that Nguyen Van Thanh joined Vinbus in 2019 and is one of VinGroup's youngest CEOs. Nguyen Van Thanh founded a clothing business at the age of 18 before leaving college to work for KFC Vietnam, Cargill Vietnam, and Lazada Vietnam.
Uyen Tran is a TomTex co-founder

Uyen Tran is a fashion designer, materials researcher, and co-founder of TomTex. In 2022, Uyen was also included on Vietnam's Forbes under 30 list.
According to Forbes Vietnam, Uyen Tran has studied and created a flexible biological material known as TomTex - bio-skin - to build a sustainable fashion business model. After a few months, this material can entirely dissolve in the natural environment or serve as plant fertilizer.
After designing the first bio-skin prototype, Uyen co-founded TomTex Inc., established a laboratory in New York with a team of R&D scientists and consultants, and worked with Vietnamese and American suppliers. ShrimpTex is in the research and development phase and has received a USD 1.7 million investment.
TomTex has won several major honours, including reaching the final stage of the LVMH Innovation Award (an award that recognizes new concepts and efforts) and winning the CFDA K11 Innovation Award (for creative design thinking). generated in sustainable fashion systems by the Fashion Association of America), Gold Medal at the Idea Sustainability Award (Award for Connected Designs in Design Strategy, Branding, and Digital Interactions).
