On the morning of March 12 in Hanoi, the "Women Entrepreneurs in the Era of National Advancement" Economic Forum took place. The event was co-organized by the International Women's Entrepreneurial Council (IWEC), Business and Integration Magazine, and the Vietnam-China Business Council. This event marks a significant milestone in elevating the status of Vietnamese and international women entrepreneurs.

In her opening remarks, Ms. Lê Thị Minh Hoa, Chairwoman of IWEC, stated: "We are living in an era full of volatility but also brimming with opportunities. As our country integrates deeply into the global economy and undergoes digital transformation, the role of women entrepreneurs has become more crucial than ever. We are not only business leaders but also value creators, innovators, and changemakers in our communities and society. Looking back, Vietnamese women have affirmed their positions not only in business but also in science, technology, education, and diplomacy. Today, at this forum, we are not only sharing experiences and success stories but also building a shared vision for sustainable development, supporting one another in conquering new heights."

2024 marked a crucial development milestone for the International Women's Entrepreneurial Council as it officially expands operations in China, beginning with the establishment of strategic partnerships. A notable achievement is the signing of a cooperation agreement between IWEC Vietnam and the Langfang Women's Entrepreneurs Association (China), laying the foundation for trade promotion and support for female entrepreneurs in both countries. This is not only an economic partnership milestone but also a commitment to promoting gender equality in business.

"Aiming for a global reach, IWEC is preparing to launch several programs in Japan, Thailand, the Philippines, Singapore, and South Korea. In Japan, Thailand, the Philippines, and Singapore, IWEC has received support from Mr. Steve Bui, a respected figure in the business community. Meanwhile, in South Korea, Mr. Park Bong Kyu, CEO of Korea CEO Summit, plays a vital role as a key connector. By the end of 2025, IWEC plans to establish its presence in these countries and organize a series of networking, training, and business cooperation events. These efforts will not only expand IWEC's influence but also contribute to building a strong global community of female leaders," said IWEC Chairwoman Lê Thị Minh Hoa.

A nation's development is inseparable from the progress of its women. The success of a female entrepreneur is not just a personal achievement but also a source of national pride. As Vietnam continues to strengthen its international standing, IWEC is expected to serve as a crucial bridge connecting Vietnamese female entrepreneurs with a vast, experienced, and resource-rich global network.

Speaking to the Business and Integration Magazine, Ms. Tuệ An, Chairwoman of IWEC Charity, shared: "IWEC Charity was founded as a philanthropic organization with a unique approach—charity through education and training. We believe that only through education and training can people change their mindset, develop personally, and build a fulfilling life. Therefore, IWEC Charity focuses on organizing training programs to help individuals unlock their potential. Additionally, we emphasize nurturing people's inner well-being, equipping them with life skills to overcome adversity and lead happier lives. Our target beneficiaries are especially vulnerable groups, such as women and children. Over the next five years, we will collaborate with government agencies to integrate life skills training and women's capacity-building programs into formal education systems. We will also regularly conduct workshops and training sessions to enhance the leadership skills of female entrepreneurs. Moreover, we will provide startup scholarships for women and support them in securing sustainable livelihoods."
