The event was not only an opportunity for young people from both countries to make friends and learn more about each other but also a chance to promote the beautiful values of cuisine, culture, and the rich tourist destinations in Vietnam to Korean friends.

At the event, young people from Vietnam and Korea had the opportunity to freely converse, connect, and exchange ideas, learning from each other. Through activities like playing games and participating in discussions, they gained a deeper understanding of each other's culture, customs, and unique lifestyles.

Chairman Kwon Jae-haeng, representing the Korea Multicultural Organization, shared: “I have seen many Vietnamese-Korean couples who married but are not happy. The reasons could be a lack of genuine love from the husband, conflicts between in-laws and the daughter-in-law, or significant age differences.

I hope that after this event, with its engaging and connective activities, the young men and women from both countries will have more opportunities to connect, truly bonding from heart to heart and potentially moving towards building a happy family in the future.”

“I hope that over time, the geographical and linguistic gaps will gradually disappear, and when we truly open our hearts, we will find wonderful friends not only from Korea but from all over the world,” added Ms. Mac, a cultural researcher.
