In collaboration with FCC Partners, a leading financial consulting firm in Taiwan (China), FPT has signed a Memorandum of Understanding (MOU) to promote comprehensive cooperation in high-tech development, investment, and commercialization.

According to the cooperation agreement, the two parties will work closely to study the establishment of the Vietnam Semiconductor Industry Development Investment Fund. The fund aims to develop human resources, attract foreign investment in the semiconductor sector, support startups, and foster innovation, contributing to the growth of Vietnam's semiconductor industry.

Additionally, FCC Partners will introduce potential partners and clients to help FPT Software Taiwan expand its market. They will also serve as a bridge for FPT Education Organization to connect with universities in Taiwan, opening opportunities for cooperation in education and human resource training for both sides.

Regarding the semiconductor development fund project, FPT Chairman Trương Gia Bình stated: "The world cannot do without chips, and the semiconductor industry will not wait for any nation." He stressed the need for companies like FPT and FCC Partners to quickly integrate into the global semiconductor supply chain.

"I have met many experts who believe that Vietnam has many advantages to participate in this industry," Mr. Bình said. "However, time is running out for Vietnam to seize this opportunity. Therefore, we need breakthrough approaches and cooperation with partners like FCC Partners."

FCC Partners is a Taiwanese firm with a team of experts in finance and banking, offering services such as international M&A consulting, fund management, capital raising, and IPO advisory, targeting clients in various sectors, including high-tech, green energy, and infrastructure.

CY Huang, Chairman of FCC Partners, noted that the collaboration with FPT marks a significant milestone in FCC Partners' development strategy in Vietnam, opening numerous cooperation opportunities in areas such as investment funds, semiconductors, software, education, and green transition.

"Taiwan has significant strengths in technology sectors, especially in semiconductors and artificial intelligence. Cooperation between Vietnam and Taiwan will bring great benefits to both sides. With FPT's technological expertise and FCC Partners' experience, we will create sustainable values that benefit both companies and the broader business community in the region," Huang expressed his confidence that this partnership will enhance the status of Vietnam's high-tech and semiconductor industries.

According to Trương Gia Bình, among Vietnam's advantages, human resources are a core factor that foreign partners highly anticipate. If Vietnam can adequately prepare its workforce, it will quickly gain the trust of partners, promote investment attraction, and develop the semiconductor production and supply chain.

Bình proposed that after this cooperation, the two sides should exchange ideas on establishing research laboratories in major cities like Hanoi, Đà Nẵng, and Ho Chi Minh City. The FPT Chairman hopes FCC Partners will encourage investors to come to Vietnam to accelerate human resource training. In the future, Vietnamese workers could work for FPT or other companies, in Vietnam, Taiwan (China), Japan, the United States, or anywhere else.

This cooperation agreement marks a significant development in the partnership between FCC Partners Inc. and FPT Corporation, opening up new collaboration opportunities and contributing positively to the growth of the high-tech industry in Vietnam.
