Vinh Phuc: Vocational education related to enterprises

DNHN - There are now 33 vocational education institutes in the province of Vinh Phuc, comprising seven colleges, three intermediate schools, twenty centres, and three additional institutions with vocational education operations. 6 out of 33 establishments are administered by central ministries and departments, while the other 27 are administered by the province.

From 2015 to the present, TVET institutions have recruited and trained about 210 individuals for new employment, adding to the province's rate of trained workers reaching almost 78% of the total workforce.

As indicated by the fact that more than 80 per cent of students have graduated from vocational training within three months, the quality of vocational training activities continues to increase, better addressing the demands of firms for high-quality human capital. All have solid employment.

Particularly, upon graduation, 100 per cent of students enrolled in high-quality vocational training programs transferred from Australia, France, and Germany have jobs in their respective fields of study and are evaluated by businesses for their high skills, arranged in technical positions, production improvement departments, and earning an average of 10-12 million VND per person per month.

Vocational training institutions focus on coordinating with enterprises in developing training programs, evaluating the quality of training units working at enterprises, and comprehending the requirements of enterprises for employees in terms of training professional knowledge and skills to make the necessary adjustments to training content and programs.

At the same time, encourage enterprise specialists and technical personnel to assist in developing, enhancing, and finishing the training program. TVET institutions routinely coordinate with enterprises to support training equipment, send technical staff to participate in practical teaching at TVET institutions, or contract with TVET institutions to set up training locations at enterprises, use the enterprise's facilities and equipment for training, and to provide post-trained labour for the enterprise; receive students, students to visit, experience, and practice.

The relationship between TVET institutions and businesses is an unavoidable development trend to guarantee that TVET activities are grounded in reality and aligned with socioeconomic and labour market demands.
