DNHN - On April 12, 2022, the KienlongBank Board of Directors accepted the decision to discharge Mr Vo Quoc Loi, the son of Mr Vo Quoc Thang, from the post of Deputy General Director (also known as elected by Thang).
Kien Long Commercial Joint Stock Bank (KienlongBank-Code: KLB) has lately announced the decision to terminate Mr Vo Quoc Loi, his son Vo Quoc Thang (also known as elected Thang), from the post of Deputy General Director due to personal ambitions. The ruling goes into effect on April 12, 2022.

Mr Thang will give over all of the tasks he is now overseeing in this capacity to Mr Tran Ngoc Minh, a Member of the Board of Directors and General Director of KienlongBank, by April 25, 2022.
KienlongBank now has five people on its Board of Directors, including the General Director and four Deputy General Directors.
Vo Quoc Loi is a significant individual stakeholder in KienlongBank even after stepping down as Deputy General Director, owning over 17 million KLB shares, or 4.69 per cent of the bank's charter capital. (By the end of 2021, according to the bank's governance report).
Mr Vo Quoc Loi, born in 1988, has a master's degree in business administration from London Business School (United Kingdom) and has worked in finance and banking for 9 years. In January 2021, he was named Deputy General Director.
In addition to his role at the bank, Mr Loi is a member of the board of directors of Truong Thanh Wood Industry Corporation and the chairman of the board of directors of Dong Tam Mien Trung Joint Stock Company.
Mr Vo Quoc Loi said that shortly, owing to the personnel demands of the firms in which he holds the post of Member of the Board of Directors or legal representative, Mr Loi will need to spend a lot of time focused on work at these enterprises.
