DNHN - From October to December 2023, Vietnam Online Television Technology Joint Stock Company TVO (TVO24H) will host the inaugural "Beauty of the Central Highlands 2023" contest in the Central Highlands.
The contest was created to recognise the beauty, intelligence, and talent of women from the Central Highlands, thereby promoting the image, people, and tourism of this region. Speaking at a press conference in City on the afternoon of 14 October 2023. Mr. Huynh Le Vinh Phat, Director of TVO24H and Chairman of the Organising Committee, stated in Ho Chi Minh City that the Beauty of the Central Highlands 2023 contest is an important event. In addition to the contest's primary activities, contestants will also participate in the contest itself. Participate in social and charitable activities, and work together to improve the environment to promote the tourism and culture of Vietnam and the Central Highlands in particular, thereby attracting domestic and international tourists.

As Jury Chair, Artist of Merit, and Vice President of the City Theatre Association. Ho Chi Minh City's runner-up Trinh Kim Chi enthusiastically shared his thoughts in conjunction with this competition. "The most important objective of the jury is to select a contestant with the typical beauty of the Central Highlands in terms of face, body, talent, and soul, who can carry the message of protecting the forest," she emphasised. "Environmental protection aims to spread throughout the community."


Associate Professor Dr Tran Xuan Ninh, a Member of the Contest Advisory Board, explained to the media that the contest "Beauty of the Central Highlands" honours the value of Central Highlands women, which is the beauty of gentleness, grace, naturalness, talent, and intelligence (characteristic of Central Highlands ethnic minorities).
"Therefore, for us to promote the land and people of the Central Highlands to the entire nation and international allies. This is also a land brimming with the revolutionary traditions of nearly fifty ethnic groups living in harmony to build a more developed and prosperous nation.

"The Central Highlands is also considered the roof of Indochina, an important strategic area of the whole country, in terms of politics, economics, culture, society, defence and security..." Dr. Tran Xuan Ninh, Associate Professor, added the following: - "This topic I find very meaningful, practical and will spread..."
According to the Organising Committee, the "Beauty of the Central Highlands" contest is open to women between the ages of 18 and 50 who reside and work in the five provinces of Kon Tum, Gia Lai, Dak Lak, Dak Nong, and Lam Dong. The competition will be divided into two age groups: Group A is for those aged 18 to 30 and Group B is for those aged 31 to 50. Contestants must meet appearance, education, communication, and behaviour requirements.

Sharing additional information about the competition, the Organising Committee stated that as contestants progress through the inner rounds, they will have the opportunity to be trained in important skills, such as Catwalk skills, and receive competition advice. Talent competition, communication skills, behavioural responses... before the competition, trained by members of the Organising Committee who are well-known beauty queens and models, such as Miss Universe Vietnam 2017 H'Hen Niê, Miss Planet Attractiveness 2023 Huynh Thi, Miss Cinema Dieu Hoa, actress On Bich Hang...
In addition to the main prizes of crowns, money, and gifts from Sponsors for the top three contest winners, the Organising Committee also awarded several additional prizes, including Compassionate Beauty, Talented Beauty, Beauty with the most popular national costume, Beauty wearing the most beautiful national costume, and Media beauty.

It is known that the Organising Committee will begin accepting applications on September 25, 2023, and will continue to do so until November 15, 2023. The preliminary round of the competition will be held in the provinces of the Central Highlands from October 10 to November 30, 2023.
