DNHN - CareerViet, a leading company in the HR sector, has successfully organised the “Holistic Excellence” event and the “Employer of Choice 2023” awards ceremony, bringing together over 1,000 representatives from leading businesses in Vietnam.

The “Holistic Excellence - Outstanding Inside, Shining Outside” workshop was attended by CEO representatives and senior HR managers from renowned corporations who shared trends and solutions for attracting personnel, labour and employment that are currently being implemented by large corporations and businesses in Vietnam and abroad, to find solutions to attract human resources, retain talent and promote sustainable business development.
An open dialogue between CEOs and HRDs of leading businesses in Vietnam, moderated by Mr Pham Hong Hai, Vice Chairman of TVS, revealed interesting information about the journey of building a recruitment brand.

Ms Truong Thi Thuy Oanh, Recruitment Director of Techcombank, shared that Techcombank has many foreign members because Techcombank has an environment where foreigners can access and work, and from there, foreign staff have the opportunity to create value here, things that sometimes foreign companies do not have the conditions to do, but we will create conditions for them to express themselves.
At the event, Ms Angeline (CEO - PEP Worldwide Asia) also said: “We find that people aged 45-55 and over are difficult to reach because they have the mentality that they have already achieved certain successes, have experience, and are complacent. This is very dangerous for businesses because it is conservatism, so the best advice is to always welcome learning and be open to new information, to learn new things. Especially in different cultures, sometimes you have to let go of what you have learned to learn new things.
Connecting the afternoon workshop session, the Employer of Choice 2023 Awards Ceremony grandly took place, with representatives of the companies receiving the trophies and certificates of recognition.

In the context of the general difficulties of the market, the “human” factor is always the key factor in enhancing the competitiveness of businesses. Therefore, the winning businesses are those that not only focus on the business aspect but also focus on developing and building an attractive recruitment brand, attracting many views and votes from not only internal staff but also potential labour and candidates in the market to the business’s recruitment brand.
