The General Department of Customs executes five Ministry of National Defense processes

DNHN - The General Department of Customs proposed that the Customs Departments of provinces and cities decentralize the use of the Ministry of National Defense's function of looking up handling results for the aforementioned 5 administrative procedures on the electronic information processing E-Customs system for customs officers.
The General Department of Customs has recently issued Official Letter No. 1923/TCHQ-ITTT alerting the provincial and city Customs Departments of the implementation of 5 administrative processes of the Ministry of National Defense, including electronic border gate procedures, mainland for tourist delegations, official delegations on exit or entry; procedures for electronic border guard at land border gates for Vietnamese citizens on exit or entry; procedures for amending and supplementing electronic border guard dossiers at land border gates; procedures for amending and supplementing electronic border guard dossiers for visa recipients at border gates.

Simultaneously, customs officials at sub-departments must use the Customs Electronic Information Processing System (E-Customs) to search up and utilize the outcomes of handling by the Ministry of National Defense for 5 administrative processes. Enterprises are not needed to provide paper copies of documents or processing results issued under the preceding five processes if the documents or processing results were issued through the National Single- window mechanism.
Previously, the Border Guard Command - Ministry of National Defense requested the General Department of Customs to establish the National Single Window for customs brokers in Official Letter No. 1576/BDBP-CK dated April 15, 2022. Electronic border crossing processes
To implement the Prime Minister's Decision No. 1254/QD-TTg dated September 26, 2018; Decision No. 1258/QD-TTg dated August 17, 2020, the Ministry of National Defense has actively coordinated with the General Department of Customs to implement administrative procedures on the National single-window mechanism over the past time.
