Saigontourist Group and Ben Tre Province Sign Cooperation Agreement to Promote Tourism Development

DNHN - Recently, the signing ceremony of the cooperation agreement between Saigon Tourist Group (Saigontourist Group) and the People’s Committee of Ben Tre Province for the period 2024-2029 took place in Ben Tre.
Speaking at the ceremony, Mr Nguyen Tien Dat - Director of Marketing and Sales of Saigontourist Group, said that the signing ceremony aimed to promote cooperation in tourism development, investment promotion, development of tourism products and services, marketing promotion, event organisation, human resource training, and support for the tourism industry in the development process, making tourism a spearhead economic sector, creating a driving force for the socio-economic development of Ben Tre.
Mr Truong Duc Hung - General Director of Saigontourist Group, said that the group would provide consultancy on planning, investment, and construction of new tourism products and services, products linking localities in the province and regional linkages to develop tourism in Ben Tre.
Saigontourist Group has assigned Saigontourist Travel Service Company to strengthen exchanges and cooperation with units and partners in Ben Tre Province to develop new tourism products, tours, and tourist routes in the locality.
In the field of training, Saigontourist Group, together with Saigontourist College of Tourism and Hospitality and other member units of the group, are researching and coordinating with schools and centres in Ben Tre to organise training courses, workshops, and refresher courses on tourism and related professions; creating conditions for students to participate in internships and giving priority to recruiting trained human resources according to the needs of Saigontourist Group.
At the same time, Saigontourist Group is also providing consultancy, support, and coordination with Ben Tre in tourism promotion and marketing activities, communication work; providing consultancy on organising events, tourism festivals, and culinary culture at home and abroad. The group is also committed to supporting and accompanying Ben Tre in implementing specific cooperation activities to contribute to the province’s tourism development.
According to Ms Nguyen Thi Be Muoi, Vice Chairman of the People’s Committee of Ben Tre Province, the signing of the strategic cooperation agreement between the Provincial People’s Committee and Saigontourist Group will be a solid foundation to continue building and developing the achievements of cooperation in recent years and in the time to come.
“This is an important milestone, promoting cooperation in tourism development, promoting tourism investment, training, and other contents to support the tourism industry in Ben Tre in the development process while supporting the business development of Saigontourist Group in the Ben Tre market,” Ms Nguyen Thi Be Muoi shared.
