DNHN - DongA Commercial Joint Stock Bank (DongABank) has just announced Decision 1289 of the State Bank of Vietnam (SBV) appointing Mr. Nguyen Thanh Tung, a member of the Board of Directors cum General Director of DongABank to hold the position Bank President.
Mr Nguyen Thanh Tung was born in 1966, a native of Ca Mau province, holds a bachelor's degree from Banking University, a master's degree in economics, with 33 years of experience working in the banking industry.
Before serving as a member of the Board of Directors and General Director of Dong A Bank, Mr Tung was the Deputy General Director of this bank.
He also worked as the Director of Vietnam Joint Stock Commercial Bank for Industry and Trade (VietinBank) Ho Chi Minh City branch. HCM.
Dong A Bank is a credit institution placed under special control by the State Bank from 2015 until now, with a charter capital of VND 5,000 billion.
