Nguyen Hong Hien is the new Chairman of the Mobifone Member Council

DNHN - The Committee for State Capital Management at Enterprises has recently issued Decision No. 233/QD-UBQLV dated June 1, 2022, appointing Mr Nguyen Hong Hien to the post of Chairman of the Board of Members of Telecom MobiFone Corporation.
Mr Hien, who was born in 1974, has a master's degree in Banking and Finance Law from Queen Mary's School, University of London (United Kingdom).
The new Chairman of Mobifone was formerly the Director of Technology and Infrastructure Department within the Committee for the Management of State Capital at Enterprises. He has also worked for the State Capital Investment Corporation (SCIC) since 2007, rising to the position of Deputy General Director in 2014.
SCIC entrusted Mr Hien to represent capital in several businesses, including FPT Telecom and Vinamilk.
Along with the appointment of Mr Hien, Chairman of the Committee for the Management of State Capital at Enterprises Nguyen Hoang Anh also signed and promulgated Decision No. 232/QD-UBQLV dated June 1, 2022, to appoint Mr Thang, Chairman of MobiFone's Members' Council, Member of the Members' Council of Vietnam Posts and Telecommunications Group (VNPT).
As a result of the aforementioned decision, Mr Nguyen Hong Hien will succeed Mr Nguyen Manh Thang as Chairman of MobiFone's Members' Council, accountable and representative for the administration of State capital at this firm.
Mr Nguyen Hong Hien will serve as Chairman of MobiFone Telecommunications Corporation for the next five years.
