Mr Vu Tien Thanh Appointed as Head Coach of LPBank Hoang Anh Gia Lai Football Club

DNHN - LPBank Hoang Anh Gia Lai Football Club officially appoints Mr. Vu Tien Thanh as the head coach, replacing Coach Kiatisak Senamuang to lead LPBank Hoang Anh Gia Lai Football Club in the next phase of the V.League 2023/24.
Witnessing the appointment ceremony, the representatives of Lien Viet Post Bank (LPBank) include Mr Nguyen Van Thuy - Permanent Vice Chairman of the Board of Directors, and Mr Ho Nam Tien - Vice Chairman of the Board of Directors and General Director. On the side of HAGL Group, there are Mr Doan Nguyen Duc - Chairman of the Board of Directors, Mr Nguyen Tan Anh - Director of Communications and CEO of LPBank HAGL Club, Mr Vu Tien Thanh - Director of LPBank HAGL Football Academy, Technical Director and Head Coach of LPBank HAGL Club, along with representatives of the leaders of the two units.

Speaking at the event, the Board of Directors of LPBank HAGL Football Club believes that under the leadership of Coach Vu Tien Thanh, the club will soon overcome the difficult period, regain its spirit and competitive form, and is determined to regain its glory in the V.League 2023/24.
Also at the event, the representative of the sponsor, Mr Ho Nam Tien, committed to working with Mr Duc to strengthen the team for the second phase, the second leg of the V.League 2023/24 with quality contracts, recruiting both foreign and domestic players. With this investment, LPBank HAGL Club will pursue and contribute to a beautiful playing style, serving the fans of the "mountain town" team in particular and fans nationwide in general.

On the side of Coach Vu Tien Thanh, in his new position and with new tasks, he said: “I am very honoured to be trusted by the club’s board of directors, invited to work and work in the coaching board. As someone who comes from and works in youth football, I also have many projects to develop the club as well as train and recruit young players. In my capacity as the new head coach of LPBank HAGL Club, I am confident that I will do well in the assigned tasks, to bring the club to achieve the best results in the next phase of the season and further bring the highest ranking for the club in national and regional professional tournaments”.
Mr Vu Tien Thanh was born in 1964, graduated from the Central II University of Physical Education and Sports, and spent a long time studying in countries with the world’s leading football such as Brazil, Germany, the US, etc. With deep professional knowledge, extensive experience on the battlefield and full of passion, Mr Thanh is considered by experts to be a veteran coach in the Vietnamese football world. In his career of coaching and professional training, he has worked and held important roles such as language assistant, and assistant coach for many foreign coaches of the Vietnam national team including; Kark Weigang, Riedl, Dido, Calisto, Colin Murphy, Philipe Troussier, Director of PVF Centre, Chairman of Pho Hien Club, Head Coach of many teams competing in the V.League such as Dong A-Pomina Steel, Saigon FC or Ho Chi Minh City Club.
After 16 years of establishment and development, in addition to affirming its position and strong development capacity, LPBank always focuses on social security work. “Integrating society into business” is the bank’s long-term operating motto. In 2023, LPBank made many positive contributions to the community and society through direct social activities, sponsorship activities, building schools, supporting the poor and charitable movements.

As of December 31, 2023, LPBank’s total assets reached VND 382,953 billion, an increase of 17% compared to the beginning of the year. Also in 2023, LPBank increased its charter capital from VND 17,291 billion to VND 25,576 billion, an increase of 48% compared to the beginning of the year, becoming one of the banks with the largest charter capital in the system.
