Additionally, 42 members were chosen by the Congress to serve on the Executive Committee, and 11 of them served as the YBA's Vice President for term XII. Mr. Le Tri Thong was the Vice Chairman of YBA for term XI before.
The Vietnam Young Entrepreneurs Association's leaders, representatives from Ho Chi Minh City departments and branches, Secretary of the Central Youth Union Nguyen Pham Duy Trang, Chairman of the Ho Chi Minh City People's Committee Phan Van Mai, and almost one thousand YBA members from various provinces and cities were present at the event.
Phan Van Mai, the chairman of the Ho Chi Minh City People's Committee, stated in front of the congress that the city's young business community has demonstrated a desire to participate, reaffirming its role, youth, solidarity, energy, and inventiveness. Entrepreneurs actively contribute to the socioeconomic growth of the city by always striving to overcome obstacles and achieve significant outcomes in a variety of disciplines. In addition to working together with the city to rebuild and grow the economy following the COVID-19 outbreak, entrepreneurs demonstrate their ability to serve as a liaison between the business community, the government, and upcoming entrepreneurs. A fighting spirit is essential to an entrepreneurial spirit. The business team will always have the support of the city's authorities and leaders, which will foster a positive business environment. Conversely, we also anticipate that the business community and upcoming entrepreneurs will actively support the city's further development.
According to Mr. Mai, young business owners have established connections and carried out a variety of trade operations, encouraged trade investment, linked the supply and demand of products, produced jobs, and increased city budget revenue. especially carrying on the dedication that has been cultivated over many generations of young businesspeople in Ho Chi Minh City. In order to be innovative, young entrepreneurs need to face reality head-on, solve novel problems, and venture into uncharted territory to innovate both their companies and themselves.
Furthermore, bringing new business and creative platforms to the business environment through innovation would help Ho Chi Minh City become a leader in the creative and green economy once more.
The operating directive with the topic "Commitment - innovation - breakthrough - reaching out" was approved by Congress for the 12th term (2023–2026).
