Joseph Uddo elected as the new Chairman of the American Chamber of Commerce in Vietnam

DNHN - The American Chamber of Commerce in Hanoi (AmCham Hanoi) leadership has announced the election of Joseph Uddo as its new Chairman, succeeding John Rockhold, who served in the role for 2022 and 2023.

Joseph Uddo is the current President of the American Chamber of Commerce in Hanoi (AmCham Hanoi) and concurrently the General Director of AES Vietnam, a US-based foreign direct investment company operating in the renewable energy sector.

Uddo expressed his desire to work closely with AmCham members to promote economic, social, and business ties between Vietnam and the US.

Established in 1994, AmCham Hanoi is a non-profit organisation with the primary mission of promoting increased trade and investment between the US and Vietnam.

Uddo has been living and working in Vietnam since 2022. Prior to his move to Vietnam, he held the position of Vice President of Market Development at AES Corporation. Before that, he worked in energy policy and diplomacy in the US Government.
