DNHN - The program aims to promote trade and enhance the image of Ca Mau province to international partners, while also fostering economic cooperation and the development of high-tech agriculture in the region.
An international business delegation will visit Ca Mau for market research and trade connections on November 14 and 15, 2024. On November 14, the delegation will survey seafood processing plants and OCOP (One Commune One Product) production facilities in the locality.
As part of the program, the Investment Promotion and Enterprise Support Center of Ca Mau Province will organize and introduce OCOP specialty dishes and export seafood from the province. This is also an opportunity to promote Ca Mau tourism through short films showcasing prominent tourist attractions and the cultural identity of the Mekong Delta, along with traditional artistic performances, providing international guests with an impressive experience of local culture.
On November 15, 2024, at the Ca Mau Provincial People's Committee building, a trade promotion connection conference will take place with the participation of 200 delegates, including leaders from the Ministry of Industry and Trade, leaders of Ca Mau Province, and representatives of domestic and foreign enterprises. This will provide information about the market, business support policies, and opportunities for business cooperation.
Also on November 15, 2024, a product display area will be organized in the lobby of the Ca Mau Provincial People's Committee building to showcase export seafood products, OCOP products, and other outstanding local specialties. This is an opportunity for both domestic and foreign enterprises to access and learn about Ca Mau's high-quality products, thereby creating opportunities for export cooperation.
The program not only serves as an occasion for Ca Mau to promote its image and products to international friends but also provides a chance for local enterprises to expand their markets, seek strategic partners, and learn from experiences in applying technology to agricultural and seafood production.
Through trade connections and enhanced international cooperation, Ca Mau hopes to strongly boost its local economy in the coming years, especially in the fields of seafood export and characteristic agricultural products.
