DNHN - According to the Hoa Binh Provincial Department of Planning and Investment, there are currently 165 investment projects in the province in the fields of tourism, trade, and services, with a total registered capital of approximately VND 27,000 billion

Of these, 60 are tourism investment projects (tourist and resort areas). Notable examples include the Vien Nam Ecological Urban and Entertainment Area Project (Hoa Binh City); the Cuoi Ha High-End Ecological Urban, Entertainment, and Cable Car System Area (Kim Boi); and the Villa, Forest Plantation, and Ecotourism Area in Mong Hoa Commune (Hoa Binh City).
From the public investment capital for 2021-2025, the province has allocated VND 352.6 billion for tourism infrastructure projects. Many important and key projects have been allocated public investment capital; two projects are using ODA capital: the “Construction and Upgrading of Tourism Infrastructure in the Tien Pagoda Relic Area, Phu Nghia Commune, Lac Thuy District” Sub-Project; and the “Hoa Binh Province Tourism Infrastructure Development” Project.
In 2023, two major projects will commence: the Ngoi Hoa Ecotourism Area in the Hoa Binh Lake Tourist Area, with a total registered capital of over VND 474 billion; and the Huong Binh Cable Car Line (Lac Thuy), with a total investment of VND 1,700 billion. In addition, the National Target Programme on New Rural Development has supported the development of rural tourism OCOP products, focusing on standardising community tourism destinations.
Efforts to attract investment in the tourism sector are being prioritised and promoted to realise the goal of developing Hoa Binh into a major tourism centre in the midlands and mountainous regions of northern Vietnam, an attractive destination for domestic and international visitors, and a contributor to the province’s socio-economic development.
