DNHN - In addition to the bonus according to Decree 97 of the Government of 3.6 million VND for 2 certificates of merit, Hai Phong City awarded 2 individuals who won ASIAD 19 gold medals 335 million VND per Resolution 04/2020 of the City People's Council.

Chairman of the Hai Phong City People's Committee Nguyen Van Tung has just signed a resolution to award Certificates of Merit and rewards to athlete Pham Quang Huy and coach Pham Cao Son for their outstanding achievements in winning 1 individual gold medal and 1 team bronze medal in shooting at the ASIAD.
Quang Huy was awarded 140 million VND for his gold medal and 27.5 million VND for his team's bronze medal. Coach Pham Cao Son - coach of gunner Quang Huy's managing unit also received a similar reward. The total bonus for two individuals amounts to 338,600,000,000 VND.
In addition to the gold medal, Quang Huy also received a state bonus of 140 million VND. The Vietnamese sports delegation was awarded 400 million, while the Vietnam Shooting Federation was awarded 100 million. The Hanoi National Sports Training Centre awards 200 million VND for each gold medal (100 million for athletes and 100 million for coaches).

Pham Quang Huy, a shooter from Hai Phong who competed in two events at the Asian Games, was awarded the gold medal on September 28 in the morning. 10 m air pistol for men. The 1996-born athlete placed first with a score of 240.5, while Korean shooter Lee Won-ho placed second with a score of 234.
This is a historic gold medal for the Vietnamese shooters at the ASIAD, as it is their first time atop the podium at the Asian Games. In the men's 10m air pistol team competition, Quang Huy, Phan Cong Minh, and Lai Cong Minh also brought home the bronze medal.
