DNHN - On the afternoon of April 16, Agribank, Hoa Binh provincial branch, and the Hoa Binh Business Association jointly organised a conference connecting Agribank, Hoa Binh provincial branch and local businesses.

Representatives of the State Bank of Vietnam, Hoa Binh provincial branch, Agribank, Hoa Binh provincial branch, and the Hoa Binh Business Association chaired the conference.
Agribank is a 100% state-owned credit institution, accounting for approximately 30% of the credit market share in the area. With 29 transaction points covering all districts and cities, Agribank, Hoa Binh provincial branch regularly serves nearly 55,000 customers, including over 250 corporate customers. In the recent past, closely following the instructions of the Government, Agribank, the State Bank of Vietnam, Hoa Binh provincial branch, and Agribank, Hoa Binh provincial branch have implemented many solutions to remove difficulties for businesses. Specifically, in 2023, the branch has implemented many interest rate reductions for deposits and loans; applied preferential interest rate credit programmes and packages to support businesses and people to restore production and business, and promote economic development. By the end of 2023, the branch’s loan turnover reached over VND 15 trillion, of which corporate customers accounted for 22% with a total outstanding debt of approximately VND 3 trillion.
At the conference, Agribank, Hoa Binh provincial branch introduced 6 preferential credit packages for businesses and individual customers with a scale of over VND 100 trillion; interest rates ranging from 6 - 7.3%/year; simplified procedures, integrated many utilities; etc.
The conference also recorded many comments from representatives of local businesses exchanging about difficulties in accessing credit capital such as issues of secured assets; loan insurance; restructuring of repayment terms; etc. The comments were received and satisfactorily answered by Agribank, Hoa Binh provincial branch.
This is the first time that the conference connecting Agribank, Hoa Binh provincial branch and Hoa Binh provincial businesses has been held. Through the programme, the Organising Committee hopes to exchange, share, and remove difficulties in accessing credit capital for businesses in Hoa Binh province, with the goal of “Accompanying development”, contributing to the completion of socio-economic development targets of Hoa Binh province.
