DNHN - After two years of hiatus due to Covid-19, the return of Vietnam ETE & Enertec Expo 2022 from July 20-22, 2022 will certainly be a better opportunity to promote the brand for businesses in the electrical equipment and energy industry after the pandemic.
Under the chairmanship of Ho Chi Minh City Department of Industry and Trade, Advertising and Exhibition Company CIS Vietnam and Ho Chi Minh City Supporting Industry Development Center jointly organized the 14th international exhibition. on Electrical & Technology Equipment – Vietnam ETE 2022 and the 11th International Exhibition of Energy Saving and Green Energy Technology products – Enertec Expo 2022 at Saigon Exhibition & Convention Center – SECC.
In the process of industrialization and modernization, Vietnam needs to pay attention to the requirements of sustainable development and green growth in association to mitigate and adapt to climate change.
At the 26th Conference, the parties to the United Nations Framework Convention on Climate Change (COP26) held in November 2021 in Scotland, Vietnam committed to achieving the goal of being carbon neutral in 2050. Therefore, this is both a great challenge as well as a great opportunity for green energy development in Vietnam in the coming time.
According to the National Power Development Master Plan VII, electricity demand in Vietnam is expected to achieve an encouraging annual growth rate of 9% from now to 2025 and 8% to 2030.
This plan is creating a great opportunity for businesses in the domestic and foreign electrical equipment manufacturing industry. On the other hand, according to the regulation No. 48/2008/QD-BCT of the Ministry of Industry and Trade, by 2025, Vietnam's electrical equipment manufacturing industry will continue to be invested and developed to meet 70% of the domestic demand for line equipment and substations, meeting 55% of the demand for electric motors and some types of common generators...
During the past 14 years, Vietnam ETE & Enertec Expo has always been a practical event to help businesses in the Vietnamese and international electrical equipment and energy industries communicate and exchange, promote trade, attract investment, in scientific and technological cooperation, expansion of production and business, contributing to ensuring national energy security.
At Vietnam ETE & Enertec Expo 2019 - the latest exhibition held before the outbreak of the Covid-19 pandemic, there were over 550 booths of nearly 400 leading enterprises such as EVN HCMC, Gelex, ABB, LS Vina, etc. Panasonic, Philips, Long Giang, APS, Tuan An, Thinh Phat, Hoa Phat Legrand, Huawei, Dien Quang, HENGS Vietnam, VNG, NES, Vi Luc... There are also many businesses from Germany, France, the US, Sweden, Poland, Japan, Korea, China, Taiwan, Hong Kong…
Besides, the Organizing Committee of Vietnam ETE & Enertec Expo has cooperated with Korea Electrical Manufacturers Association (KOEMA) and Chinese and Japanese exhibition companies to organize 3 national exhibitions. After 4 days of opening, the exhibition has welcomed nearly 30,000 visitors, including more than 12,000 commercial visitors. The event is highly appreciated by exhibitors, visitors and partners for the exhibition quality and organization.
