DNHN - The Binh Phuoc Farmers’ Association announces plans to hold a workshop on “Binh Phuoc Bird’s Nest - Opportunities and Sustainable Development” on April 16, 2024, at Dong Xoai City Square.
The workshop aims to promote the development of the local bird’s nest industry, while also providing an opportunity for farmers and businesses in the industry to meet, exchange ideas and expand their cooperative relationships. The event is expected to attract around 90 delegates from relevant departments, bird’s nest export businesses and bird’s nest farmers.
The workshop programme includes presentations on the development of the bird’s nest industry, market conditions and opportunities, as well as the scale and process of bird’s nest production for export. In addition, the workshop will provide an opportunity to sign a memorandum of understanding between businesses and the Farmers’ Association, to promote cooperation and sustainable development for the bird’s nest industry in Binh Phuoc.
The cost of the workshop will be covered by the community, with close coordination between relevant departments and units to ensure the success of the event. The bird’s nest farming industry in Binh Phuoc is developing rapidly, with many businesses and production facilities of high scale and quality.
Binh Phuoc has many large-scale bird’s nest production facilities, including Nhat Tien Bird’s Nest Co., Ltd., Viet Trung Bird’s Nest Facility (Dong Xoai City), Nam Phu Bird’s Nest Company (Chon Thanh District), Tan Gia Nghia Bird’s Nest Facility, Long Phuong Bird’s Nest (Bu Gia Map District) and many other businesses.
Bird’s Nest production facilities in Binh Phuoc have applied modern technology to enhance value and competitiveness. This includes attracting swiftlets, standardising processing procedures, improving product packaging, and using IoT systems to manage birdhouses.
Binh Phuoc needs to plan bird farming and birdhouse development areas to ensure biosecurity, food safety and environmental hygiene. At the same time, it is necessary to build a chain-linking organisation. The Binh Phuoc Bird’s Nest and Agricultural Products Exhibition will be held in mid-April 2024 at Dong Xoai City Square. This event is not only a trade event, but also an opportunity for the community to connect, learn and develop the local agricultural industry.
The bird’s nest industry plays some important roles in the economic development of Binh Phuoc Province. Bird’s nest farming creates jobs for people, especially in rural areas. Bird’s nest farmers can increase their income by selling raw bird’s nests, refined bird’s nests, and related products. Bird’s nest is a high-quality, nutritious food source. The development of the bird’s nest industry helps to diversify agriculture and create economic balance.
This not only helps to increase people’s income but also attracts foreign investment in the bird’s nest industry. Binh Phuoc bird’s nest has the potential to develop and achieve high quality. Promoting bird’s nest products also helps to enhance the province’s image in the domestic and international markets. The bird’s nest industry not only contributes to the economy but also contributes to sustainable development and improves the quality of life for the people of Binh Phuoc.
