BIC Presented over VND 7.7 Billion in Insurance Benefits to Customers Borrowing Capital at BIDV Khanh Hoa

DNHN - On February 1, 2024, BIDV Insurance Corporation (BIC) and BIDV Khanh Hoa met and presented over VND 7.7 billion in BIC Binh An borrower insurance benefits to the family of customer D.S (residing in Khanh Hoa province).
This is BIC Binh An’s largest compensation payment to date for customers borrowing capital at BIDV.
Mr D.S. has been a regular customer borrowing capital at BIDV Khanh Hoa for many years. After being fully advised by BIDV staff about the benefits and insurance premiums of the BIC Binh An Borrower Insurance product, he requested to participate in insurance for loans at the Bank so that he could feel secure in his life.

On December 15, 2023, an unfortunate and regrettable risk occurred, Mr D.S. died in a traffic accident. Immediately after receiving information from the customer’s family, BIC Nam Trung Bo coordinated with BIDV Khanh Hoa to visit and encourage the customer’s family; at the same time, actively coordinated with the family to collect related documents to carry out the compensation payment procedures as prescribed.
The total amount paid to Mr S’s family was VND 7,710,545,597, including the amount of insurance participation, support for interest on loans during the insurance procedure waiting period, hospitalisation allowance and funeral allowance.
