Bamboo Airways has a new Chairman of the Board of Directors

DNHN - Bamboo Airways' Board of Directors also held a meeting and agreed to elect Mr Nguyen Ngoc Trong as Chairman of the Board of Directors of Bamboo Airways, Mr Doan Huu Doan as Permanent Vice Chairman of the Board of Directors, Mr Le Ba Nguyen as Vice Chairman of the Board of Directors for the term 2019 - 2024.

On August 13 at the headquarters of 265 Cau Giay, the Extraordinary General Meeting of Shareholders of Tre Viet Aviation Joint Stock Company (BAV, Bamboo Airways) additionally elected Mr Le Ba Nguyen, Mr Le Thai Sam, Mr Nguyen Manh Quan, Mr Doan Huu Doan is a member of the Board of Directors (BOD) replacing members who have been dismissed.

At the same time, Bamboo Airways Board of Directors also held a meeting and agreed to elect Mr Nguyen Ngoc Trong as Chairman of the Board of Directors of Bamboo Airways, Mr Doan Huu Doan as Permanent Vice Chairman of the Board of Directors, Mr Le Ba Nguyen holds the position of Vice Chairman of the Board of Directors for the term 2019 - 2024.

Mr Nguyen Ngoc Trong is a leader who has been with Bamboo Airways since its inception and is also the first Deputy General Director of Bamboo Airways since 2018. He has held the position of Vice President of Bamboo Airways since April 2022.

Mr Nguyen Ngoc Trong holds a Master of Science and Technology, graduated from Aviation University in the former Soviet Union, and received advanced training in professional and management skills in the US, France, Switzerland, Australia and Ireland. He has more than 40 years of professional experience in the aviation industry and has held many senior management positions in enterprises such as Vietnam Airlines, Aircraft Engineering One Member Limited Liability Company (VAECO), Vietnam Aviation Fuel Company Limited (SKYPEC), Noi Bai Airport Services Joint Stock Company (NASCO)…

Thus, Bamboo Airways' Board of Directors will have 5 members including Mr Nguyen Ngoc Trong - Chairman, Mr Doan Huu Doan, Mr Le Ba Nguyen, Mr Le Thai Sam and Mr Nguyen Manh Quan.

At the same time, the General Meeting also agreed to elect 3 members of the Supervisory Board, including Mr Tran Anh Tuan - Head of the Supervisory Board, Mr Pham Van Phung and Mr Nguyen Dang Khoa - a member of the Supervisory Board.

Previously in March 2022, after Mr Trinh Van Quyet, Chairman of the Board of Directors of FLC Group and Bamboo Airways, was arrested and detained to investigate violations related to manipulating the stock market, Vice Chairman of the Board of Directors cum General Director Dang Tat Thang officially assumed the position of Chairman of the Board of Directors of FLC Group and Bamboo Airways from March 31 until a new decision of the General Meeting of Shareholders and the Board of Directors.
