DNHN - According to the Ministry of Finance, the collected state budget income in 8 months was anticipated at about VND 1,208.2 trillion, representing 85.6% of the estimate and representing a 19.4% increase over the same time in 2021. The total state budget income for August 2022 is anticipated to be 106 trillion dongs, a decrease of around 46 trillion dongs from the previous month's revenue.

In this regard, the domestic revenue realized in August was estimated to be 78.4 trillion dong, a decrease of approximately 43.4 trillion dong from the previous month due to several revenues allowed to be collected quarterly, such as corporate income tax, personal income tax, and value-added tax of business households, Accumulated income in 8 months is anticipated to be 954.6 trillion dongs, representing 81.1% of the estimate and representing a 15.9% increase over the same time in 2021.
Balanced budget revenue from import-export activities is anticipated to be 16.6 trillion VND in August, down around 5.2 trillion VND from July 2022. The total amount accumulated in the first eight months of 2022 was 197.6 trillion dongs, equaling 99.3% of the year's projection and growing 21.5% over the same time in 2021. Based on a total tax revenue projection of 295.7 trillion dongs, or 84% of the estimate, the value-added tax refund under the regime is about VND 98 trillion, or 64.1% of the forecast.
Revenue from crude oil was anticipated to be 6.2 trillion dongs in August, down roughly 2.6 trillion dongs from the previous month since the oil price was 9.8 USD/barrel lower. Revenue accumulated in 8 months is anticipated to be 51.1 trillion dongs, representing 181.2% of the estimate and an increase of 98.8% over the same time in 2021.
According to the Ministry of Finance, the budget expenditure tasks are completed in 8 months, meeting the requirements of socio-economic development, national defence, security, state management, and payment of debts to the government to ensure funding for epidemic prevention and control, social security spending tasks, and taking care of beneficiaries of salaries, pensions, and social allowances from the state budget.
According to regulations, the central budget has spent approximately 2.4 trillion VND from the provision for the 2022 estimate, primarily to support localities with funding for epidemic prevention and support for people facing difficulties due to the Covid-19 epidemic, as well as to support plant varieties, livestock, and aquatic products to restore production in areas damaged by natural disasters and epidemics. The Ministry of Finance has released around 27.6 thousand tons of national reserve rice to help people cope with the effects of natural catastrophes and diseases, as well as to assist for the Lunar New Year and the New Year.
In terms of development investment expenditure, the disbursement progress in the first eight months of the year is still relatively poor in comparison to the needs, attaining just 39.15% of the Prime Minister's target (40.6% in the same period in 2021). The disbursed foreign money amounted to 14.02% of the planned amount There are 0=7 ministries, central agencies, and 12 localities where the distribution rate exceeds 45% of the plan, whereas there are 27 ministries, central agencies, and 3 localities where the disbursement rate is less
