DNHN - Mr Nguyen Do Lang, the Apec ecosystem's tycoon with fast-expanding property wealth, will have a prosperous year in 2021. Mr Nguyen Do Lang is now one of the top 200 wealthiest people in Vietnam, according to the Vietnam Stock Exchange. Not content with that, Apec had plans to establish another firm with a capital of up to VND 10,000 billion.

Nguyen Do Lang, a businessman born in 1974, has a master's degree in economics from the University of Trento (Italy). From 1998 to 2000, he served as the CEO of Prometeo Italia. From 2000 until 2006, Mr Lang served as Chairman of the Board of Directors of Cat Tuong International Consulting Company Limited (CIC).
Mr Lang served as Chairman of the Board of Directors of Asia-Pacific Securities JSC (Apec Securities, code: APS) from 2006 to 2020 and Chairman of the Board of Directors of Asia-Pacific Investment Joint Stock Company from 2006 to 2020. (Apec Investment, code: API). He has been on the boards of directors of APS, API, and IDJ Vietnam Investment JSC since June 2020. (code: IDJ).
Mr Nguyen Do Lang has been a well-known businessman for over a decade. He was formerly recognized as Asia-Pacific Securities' Chairman of the Board of Directors and General Director (APS). In 2010, the public became aware that he had been charged. When he got involved in a case with Ly Thi Truc Quynh, this was just a mistake.
Mr Lang was hardly referenced after that. Mr Pham Nhat Vuong, Chairman of the Board of Directors of Vingroup; Mr Doan Nguyen Duc, Chairman of the Board of Directors of Hoang Anh Gia Lai; and Mr Trinh Van Quyet, Chairman of Vingroup, are among the most prominent names in the market. The FLC Board of Directors,
However, the stock market has seen numerous entrepreneurs emerge in the previous two years as a result of an ecosystem of firms from various sectors. Equities in such ecosystems, in particular, have shown spectacular growth, with stocks such as API, APS, IDJ, CSC, et al.
Mr Nguyen Do Lang, General Director of Asia-Pacific Securities (APEC, HNX: APS), has recently filed to purchase one million shares of APS to enhance the ownership ratio from 10.8 million units to 1 million shares (accounting for the proportion of shares). 13.1% of total capital) to 11.8 million units (14.2% of total capital). From May 11 to May 27, the transaction method is agreement and order matching.
Mr Lang purchased APEC equity since the stock had declined 60.3 per cent since the beginning of the year. After the session on May 9, APS shares were trading at 15,600 dongs per unit.
More about APS: This stock climbed dramatically from an "ice tea" stock with a price of 4,200 dongs in early 2021 to a record high of 59,900 dong/share on November 18, 2021, comparable to APS. In less than a year, this equates to a 14-fold rise.
When the stock was at its highest, the company's leaders got a lot of attention by telling shareholders at the General Meeting of Shareholders on November 16, 2021, to "decide to make gains."
Apec Group is a multi-industry firm mostly engaged in real estate. Asia-Pacific Investment JSC (API), Asia-Pacific Securities Company (APS), and IDJ Vietnam Investment Joint Stock Company (JDJ) are the three most important firms in this ecosystem.
Last year, the group of stocks in this ecosystem had a spectacular year, with stocks rising roughly 13 times. The growth motivation of this group may be explained by looking at the company's performance.
With the combined earnings of the group's three enterprises approaching $1 billion, APEC has officially joined the $1 trillion club. 2021 is seen as the most successful year in the APEC Group's 15-year existence, with major enterprises seeing tremendous growth at the same time.
Apec Group hosted the conference "The Great Social Housing Revolution Solves 10 Million 5-Star Social Housing for 40 Million Vietnamese People" in November 2021. Mr Nguyen Do Lang said on the talk program that one of the basic human requirements is housing. However, presently it is very difficult for low-income individuals to acquire a home.
So, this unit has a goal of building around 10 million 5-star homes for low-income workers across the country in the next 10 years.
Apec Group formed the Vietnam 5-star Social Housing Development and Investment Corporation (A Happy City-AHC) with a charter capital of VND 10,000 billion to carry out this plan.
Simultaneously, this venture intends to obtain further cash from banking institutions, local and foreign financial institutions, international investment funds, and so on and will expand capital to fit each initial phase.
