DNHN - The new General Director is expected to help Thành Thành Công - Biên Hòa accelerate the process of modernization and expand the global agricultural value chain.
The Board of Directors of Thành Thành Công - Biên Hòa Joint Stock Company (TTC AgriS, HoSE: SBT) has decided to appoint Mr. Thai Van Chuyen as the General Director of the company, effective from July 29, 2024. This decision is part of the company's comprehensive transformation plan towards an integrated smart agricultural economic model.
Mr. Thai Van Chuyen, born in 1978 in Ben Tre province, has over 22 years of experience working in various fields such as agriculture, renewable energy, tourism, and real estate. He is best known in the sugar industry and in the production and export of coconut products.
Mr. Chuyen is currently the Vice Chairman of the Board of Directors of Ben Tre Import and Export Joint Stock Company (Betrimex), where he has played a significant role in the development of coconut products, especially the Cocoxim canned coconut water. Previously, he held important positions such as Chairman of the Board of Directors of Bien Hoa Sugar Joint Stock Company (BHS), Chairman of the Board of Directors of Ninh Hoa Sugar Joint Stock Company (NHS), General Director of Thanh Thanh Cong Investment Joint Stock Company (TTC Group), Chairman of Gia Lai Electricity Joint Stock Company (GEC), and General Director of Saigon Thuong Tin Real Estate Joint Stock Company (TTC Land).
With a background in business administration and international law, along with many years of experience, Mr. Thai Van Chuyen is expected to help TTC AgriS accelerate the process of modernization and expand the global agricultural value chain. In particular, he will play a key role in developing the company's integrated smart agricultural economic model, aiming to enhance competitiveness and adapt to sustainable development strategies according to ESG criteria.
In addition to appointing a new General Director, TTC AgriS also announced Ms. Dang Huynh Uc My as the new Chairman of the Board of Directors. Ms. Dang Huynh Uc My will continue to consolidate the system and promote internal strengths to enhance competitive advantages in the next growth phase. The company is focusing on operating the integrated smart agricultural economic model and restructuring financial and technological solutions for sustainable development, with a strategic orientation towards the Circular Commercial Value Chain.
