Especially, TTC AgriS is the largest representative of agriculture in Vietnam to be included in this ranking.
Fortune is renowned for its prestigious global rankings such as the Fortune 500, Fortune Global 500, Fortune Europe 500, etc. This is the first time the leading US economic magazine has published a list for the Southeast Asia region - Fortune 500 Southeast Asia. According to Fortune Magazine, these are the 500 largest enterprises, representing a dynamic region contributing approximately USD 4 trillion to global GDP and experiencing impressive growth rates.
On June 23, 2024, Thanh Thanh Cong - Bien Hoa Joint Stock Company (TTC AgriS, HoSE: SBT) was honored to be among the 500 most profitable enterprises in Southeast Asia - Fortune 500 Southeast Asia 2024, as announced for the first time by Fortune Magazine (USA).
This list is built by Fortune based on key criteria of revenue and net profit of enterprises in 2023. Alongside are comprehensive surveys and evaluations of company scale, labor force, and contributions to the economy and society based on official reports that have been audited.
This year, the 500 ranked enterprises come from leading countries in the region such as Vietnam, Singapore, Thailand, Malaysia, Indonesia, Cambodia, and the Philippines. With revenues exceeding USD 1 billion, TTC AgriS ranks among the top 300 enterprises in the ranking, and is the leading agricultural enterprise in Vietnam on this list.
TTC AgriS continues to excel, affirming its position as a leading multinational agricultural enterprise in the region
In the fiscal year 2022-2023, TTC AgriS achieved promising results with its first-ever gross revenue exceeding USD 1 billion, reaching VND 24.743 trillion (~USD 1 billion), a 35% increase compared to the same period, and surpassing the annual plan by 145%. Sugar consumption for the fourth consecutive year exceeded 1 million tons. Gross profit from sales and service provision of TTC AgriS reached VND 2.721 trillion, an 18% increase over the same period. This shift in revenue structure confirms that TTC AgriS is on the right track towards a comprehensive agricultural value chain, operating and developing an ecosystem of seamless product and service integration, aiming for balanced and increased agricultural value cycles.
On June 17, 2024, Forbes Vietnam officially announced TTC AgriS's continued recognition in the Top 50 Best Listed Companies 2024. This marks the 7th consecutive time TTC AgriS has been honored in this prestigious ranking. Prior to that, at the 16th annual Global CSR & ESG Summit and Awards 2024, TTC AgriS received prestigious awards for exemplary CSR & ESG enterprises globally for the second consecutive year, continuing its journey to strengthen its position as a leading multinational agricultural enterprise, promoting sustainable development globally.
