Amid the cool autumn breeze and the fresh atmosphere of Hải Phòng’s coastal area, the VINASME Championship SHB Cup 2024 wrapped up with a spectacular award ceremony, marking the end of a remarkably successful season. Held at Dragon Golf Links, the annual tournament, organized by the Vietnam Association of Small and Medium Enterprises (VINASME) and the Business and Integration Magazine, was supported this year by SHB, T&T Group, SHS, and many renowned sponsors, attracting special attention from the golf community and business leaders nationwide.

The event took place in the stunning setting of the Dragon Hill International Tourist Area, and the VINASME Championship SHB Cup 2024 was not only a sports playground but also an opportunity for golf enthusiasts to compete. The tournament was divided into three groups, where each shot showcased the sophistication and exceptional skills of the business leaders, alongside their passion for the "noble" sport. Amidst the gentle autumn colors, golfers relished every moment of the competition, swinging with determination to conquer and compete for the championship.

The award ceremony was graced by the presence of many distinguished guests, representatives of the Business and Integration Magazine’s regional offices, sponsors, and honored guests, who gathered to witness the valuable rewards being handed to outstanding golfers. Notably, 144 golfers—those who directly contributed to the success of the VINASME Championship SHB Cup 2024—participated in the event.

Building on the success of previous annual tournaments, the Vietnam Association of Small and Medium Enterprises entrusted the Business and Integration Magazine to continue organizing the VINASME Golf 2024 SHB Cup, with the aim of creating a beneficial sports playground for business leaders and members of business associations across provinces and cities, to promote sustainable development.

Sharing his overflowing emotions, Mr. Nguyễn Văn Thân, Chairman of VINASME, representative of the host organization, and Head of the Organizing Committee, expressed his delight at the support the tournament received from business leaders and the enthusiastic backing of the sponsors.

“The tournament is a tribute to the business community nationwide and is also a meaningful playground, leaving wonderful memories for golfers,” Mr. Thân shared.

More than just a sports event

At the award ceremony, many golfers expressed their joy and excitement when receiving these valuable prizes. This was also a significant motivation, encouraging athletes to demonstrate their determination and effort to overcome challenges during the tournament.

Speaking to Business and Integration Magazine, Mr. Quách Hồng Viết, the golfer who won Third Prize in Group A, said: "My flight consisted of experienced golfers, and the Dragon Link course was a major challenge amid unpredictable weather, so today's result was quite a surprise for me. Thanks to the Organizing Committee for bringing a meaningful golf tournament that connects businesses closer together.”

At the VINASME Championship SHB Cup 2024 award ceremony, Mr. Định Trung Hiếu, who won Second Prize in Group B, shared: "I, along with other golfers, played our best, and I believe that was evident because today’s weather made it tough to predict outcomes. I hope VINASME will continue to host more such meaningful golf tournaments for the business community."

Thrilled to win the tournament’s Best Gross award, golfer Vũ Minh Huy said: "Today's weather was extremely harsh, especially during the first hour with both rain and wind. I made a risky 220m shot to the flag. I found the event to be very well-organized, and the choice of venue was intriguing. Although this was my first time playing on this course, I could feel the thoroughness of the organization. We hope that after the tournament, this will provide good energy, inspiration, and motivation for business leaders to achieve even better results in their fields.”
