DNHN - The Vietnam National Pavilion aims to assist Vietnamese enterprises in establishing their brand identities and promoting their products; facilitate business connection activities; and increase international customers' awareness of Vietnamese goods
The Ministry of Industry and Trade declared the launch of a program on November 28 to invite representative companies to the Vietnam National Pavilion on Alibaba.com. The conference was jointly organized by the Ministry of Industry and Trade's Department of Trade Promotion and the e-commerce platform Alibaba.com.
According to the Ministry of Industry and Trade, one hundred companies will be featured on the "Vietnam National Pavilion" of Alibaba's international marketplace.
Mr. Mike Zhang, Country Director of Alibaba.com Vietnam, asserts that Vietnamese products enjoy immense popularity both in China and internationally.
Additionally, the growth rate of Alibaba.com users interested in Vietnamese products is significantly higher than the global market average.
The volume of inquiries regarding Vietnamese products increased by 55% in 2022, accompanied by a 24.6% rise in the quantity of Vietnamese small and medium-sized enterprises that supply goods on Alibaba.
The Country Director of Alibaba.com Vietnam stated that businesses can achieve breakthrough growth and sustainably develop in the context of a challenging economy by connecting with users via online platforms. Owing to the gradual decline of conventional retail models, e-commerce will be presented with advantageous circumstances. During the initial half of 2023, enterprises operating on the Alibaba.com platform are experiencing a surge in recovery.
Mr. Vu Ba Phu, Director of the Trade Promotion Department, stated at the event that the Trade Promotion Department will collaborate with Alibaba.com to construct and operate the "Vietnam National Pavilion-Vietnam Pavilion" in 2022.
The Vietnam National Pavilion aims to assist Vietnamese enterprises in establishing their brand identities and promoting their products; facilitate business connection activities; and increase international customers' awareness of Vietnamese goods and companies. Additionally noteworthy is the fact that it exemplifies Alibaba.com's enduring and robust dedication to Vietnam.
One hundred representative Vietnamese companies are invited to participate in the Vietnam National Pavilion, also known as the Vietnam Pavilion, to increase the visibility of Made-in-Vietnam products and bolster the standing of Vietnamese companies and organizations. Vietnamese brands are enhancing the global market's recognition of superior Vietnamese products. Additionally, the program endeavors to foster international trade endeavors and improve comprehension of Vietnamese products and small and medium-sized enterprises among international clients.
Selected enterprises will be granted advantageous provisions and acquire hands-on knowledge from prosperous exporters. Furthermore, engagement in the Programme will aid organizations in comprehending and adhering to legal, transportation, and logistics regulations about global commerce.
The Department of Trade Promotion and Alibaba.com Vietnam have streamlined fourteen approval criteria into five groups as part of this initiative. This includes stipulations that products manufactured in Vietnam must prioritize established businesses, consistently and efficiently utilize business-to-business e-commerce tools, and prioritize reputation and quality. is capable of exporting, among other attributes.
The registration period for small and medium-sized enterprises is anticipated to commence on November 28, 2023, and conclude on January 15, 2024.
The director of Country for Alibaba.com Vietnam stated that reaching users via online platforms will assist businesses in developing sustainably and achieving breakthrough growth in the context of a challenging economy.
According to Mr. Zhang, e-commerce will have an advantageous position during the period of gradual decline of traditional retail models. During the initial six months of the year, enterprises operating on the Alibaba.com platform are making progress towards recuperation.
Small and medium-sized businesses will be able to export goods internationally with the aid of e-commerce. Alibaba will assist with everything from e-commerce platform deployment support to growth promotion and efficient business operations, according to Mr. Mike Zhang.
