DNHN - Phu Tho province has issued policies and documents directing and administering human resources development, utilizing, attracting, and treating human resources in the region over the past several years
The quantity and quality of the province's human resources have grown rapidly in recent years. The quality of the province's human resources increases simultaneously concerning the three fundamental factors of physical strength, skills, and professional ethics. In 2020, labour productivity is projected to reach 89.3 million VND per employee, an increase of 36,2 million VND from 2015.
Several industries and fields, such as healthcare, education, information technology, services, and export, have attracted and promoted human resources with excellent professional qualifications and skills with high labour efficiency. labour export. The number of entrepreneurs and their business acumen is growing, and they are gradually approaching the international level.
Currently, the province has thirty institutions of vocational education and two institutions of higher education. During the period 2016-2020, universities and TVET institutions enrolled an average of more than 17,400 students per year, for a total of more than 87,300 students. University training alone accounts for 15%, college training for 26%, intermediate level for 29%, and elementary and training lasting less than three months for 30%.
Hung Vuong University is among the top 100 universities in the United States in terms of educational quality. Assoc. Prof. Dr Phan Thi Tinh, Vice Rector of Hung Vuong University, stated that to carry out the mission of human resource training, the institution has adopted the motto "taking the learner as the centre, taking training quality as the core." The objective is socioeconomic efficiency, with the current trend guiding the approach. Concurrently, strengthen and expand cooperation relationships with training institutions, research institutes, and domestic and international businesses to collaborate on student training, scientific research, and job placement.
According to projections, Phu Tho, in particular, will have a golden opportunity for development in 2021-2025 and subsequent years, along with other regions of the country. An estimated 18 to 19 thousand new jobs will be created annually due to Vietnam's participation in regional and global organizations.
Therefore, human resource development must have a central focus, particularly on human resources serving the processing and manufacturing industries; the application of science and technology to agricultural production and tourism services; and the development of human resources serving the service sector.
