DNHN - The Mekong Delta region has benefited from the training in economic and social research and consulting provided by Can Tho University's Centre for Training, Research, and Economic Consulting (CENTREC), which was established in 2005.
Training based on social needs
CENTREC, a division of Can Tho University, was founded to offer students short-term courses tailored to the demands of companies and students seeking to expand their knowledge base to complement their existing skills and expertise.

According to Associate Professor Dr Le Long Hau - Director of CENTREC, with the advantage of being a unit under Can Tho University, the cradle of in-depth training in economics, we regularly grasp the needs of the labour market as well as the development needs of society to develop appropriate training programmes. The Centre has the strength of building a team of lecturers trained abroad and a team of collaborating lecturers who are leaders, managers, and experts at economic and business organisations and have practical experience. Therefore, CENTREC always ensures the connection between theory and practice, with high applicability when developing training programmes.

Specifically, the Centre always organises short-term training courses, designs modules suitable for the needs of individuals and organisations, businesses, conducts research and implements consulting contracts on socio-economics and business according to the needs of individuals and organisations; Establishes and consults investment projects, business plans for individuals, organisations and businesses…
In addition, CENTREC also develops plans for customers such as consulting strategies on customer systems, corporate culture, building chain and distribution channel systems, consulting management models for small and medium-sized enterprises, consulting on building KPI standards…
