DNHN - A high-profile campaign to maintain law and order, transportation safety, and social order throughout the Lunar New Year of the Dragon and the early spring festivities of 2024 was started on January 11 by the Binh Thuan Provincial Police.
The dates of the peak are January 11–March 9. In the three domains of road, rail, and waterway, Binh Thuan Provincial Police have simultaneously implemented patrol, control, and continual violation management procedures.
The traffic police force has been patrolling and controlling non-stop on National Highway 1A with two fixed control areas and eight mobile patrol and control teams to strictly control all vehicles. Inspect all cargo and passenger transport vehicles at the time of the Lunar New Year and the beginning of the year when a large number of workers and labourers return to big cities to work.
Binh Thuan Traffic Police have coordinated with the traffic police of neighbouring provinces to control inter-provincial vehicles travelling through National Highway 1A. If the vehicle is moving out and has been checked by Binh Thuan Traffic Police, the neighbouring province will not control the inbound direction (if there is no violation).
In particular, the entire traffic police force has used the VNeCSGT application to ensure that no violating vehicles are missed. According to Colonel Huynh Ngoc Liem - Deputy Director of Binh Thuan Provincial Police, the Ministry of Public Security has officially applied VNeCSGT technology since the end of December 2023. After 10 days of deployment, the application has been upgraded and the traffic police force has been using it smoothly. The camera surveillance system on National Highway 1 through Binh Thuan province has been effective. This time, this camera system has been integrated online and directly into the VNeCSGT application so that through the traffic police’s smartphone, traffic violations can be detected promptly.
Binh Thuan Police have launched a high-profile campaign to ensure order, traffic safety, and social order during the Lunar New Year of the Dragon, limiting traffic congestion. At the same time, they have supported people travelling for Tet, returning to work in the early days of the new year, and ensuring that people can travel and participate in the 2024 Spring Festivals safely and happily.
