DNHN - On the occasion of Vietnam Entrepreneurs’ Day (October 13), an international event themed “Integration – Innovation – Sustainable Development” was solemnly held in Ho Chi Minh City.
The program was organized by the Vietnam & International Entrepreneurs Networking Club (VIENC), in collaboration with the Vietnam Institute for Entrepreneur Training and Development (VIETD), Made in ASEAN Group, MOVSEE Group, and strategic partners.
International business networking forum and opportunities for multilateral cooperation
The program featured the participation and keynote speech of Assoc. Prof. Dr. Trần Đình Thiên, former Director of the Vietnam Institute of Economics and a member of the Prime Minister’s Economic Advisory Group, who has made significant contributions to Vietnam’s macroeconomic development strategies.
Also in attendance was Mr. Frank Long (Long Yun Hai) – Chairman of the ASEAN Trade and Investment Promotion Coordination Center in Vietnam – whose presence helped foster regional cooperation and attract multilateral investment. Mr. Đinh Vĩnh Cường, Chairman of the Vietnam & International Entrepreneurs Networking Club (VIENC), also joined the event.
The forum brought together over 200 entrepreneurs from Vietnam and abroad, along with representatives from consulates, international trade organizations, global investors, and leading economists.
Taking place at a time when the regional economy is rapidly transforming toward green, circular, and digital economic models, this conference provided a practical platform for Vietnamese entrepreneurs to enhance competitiveness and expand multilateral cooperation, particularly within the ASEAN region.
At the opening of the event, Assoc. Prof. Dr. Trần Đình Thiên, former Director of the Vietnam Institute of Economics and a member of the Prime Minister’s Economic Advisory Group, emphasized:
“The theme of today’s forum, ‘Connectivity for Development’, carries profound meaning. Vietnam cannot move forward alone — it must strengthen cooperation with international enterprises, especially in the fields of renewable energy and green technology, to create sustainable value for the region and the world. In the current challenging global context, collaboration for shared development is essential.”
International investment forum: Vietnam - a destination for innovation
At the International Investment Forum themed “Vietnam – A Destination for Investment and Innovation”, economic experts, business leaders, and representatives of international organizations discussed Vietnam’s role in the global supply chain — particularly in the fields of clean energy, green logistics, and digital technology.
The forum also served as an opportunity for Vietnamese enterprises to showcase their potential, share experiences, and explore cooperation opportunities with partners across ASEAN and beyond.
Corporations from China and Hong Kong (China) introduced advancements in digital finance, electric vehicle technology, charging stations, and battery replacement systems, all aimed at fostering a greener and more sustainable environment.
On this occasion, 365 Group signed a cooperation agreement with Fucaitong Company to develop a network of smart electric charging stations. In addition, Thien Cuu Company and Fucaitong Company entered into a partnership on clean energy development, waste treatment, and environmental protection.
These collaborations exemplify the growing trend of multilateral partnerships, opening new directions for regional investment cooperation.
As part of the program, a strategic cooperation signing ceremony was held between Vietnamese enterprises and international partners, witnessing a series of memoranda of understanding in key areas such as renewable energy, digital finance, high technology, trade, and the ASEAN supply chain.
Another highlight of the event was the demonstration of green transition and clean energy models, featuring advanced technological solutions such as smart electric motorbikes, AI-powered charging stations, and waste-to-energy systems. These initiatives reflect Vietnamese enterprises’ strong commitment to sustainable development, while affirming their pioneering role in applying technology for environmental and community benefits.
The agreements mark a new milestone in regional multilateral cooperation, paving the way for practical investment collaboration and technology transfer across the ASEAN region.
Affirming the role of Vietnamese entrepreneurs in the era of integration
In his closing remarks, Mr. Đinh Vĩnh Cường, Chairman of VIENC, stated: “We aim to build an entrepreneurial forum that not only has national significance but also serves as a regional investment bridge, reflecting Vietnam’s proactive spirit of integration in the digital century.”
The event also witnessed Mr. Dương Mạnh Hùng, President of VIETD, presenting the appointment decision to Mr. Long Yun Hai (Frank Long), officially assuming the position of Director of the ASEAN Center in Vietnam and Vice Chairman of the Vietnam & International Entrepreneurs Networking Club (VIENC).
The 2025 event themed “Integration – Innovation – Sustainable Development” concluded with numerous cooperation commitments established, laying a solid foundation for upcoming projects in green economy, high technology, and ASEAN connectivity.
