In the first six months of 2022, Kien Giang is projected to receive 3.5 million visitors, a 51,2% increase over the same time in 2021. Particularly, the expected number of Phu Quoc visitors to Phu Quoc city is almost 2.4 million, and the estimated income is 2.84 trillion VND.
In Da Nang, the expected total number of visitors for the first half of the year is 1.3 million, a 33.7% increase over the same period in 2021; concurrently, income from lodging and food services reached VND 8,329 billion, a 13.2% increase over the same period in 2021.
The ultimate objective for 2022 is to serve about 60 million domestic tourists and 5 million overseas tourists.
To attain the aforementioned objective, numerous communities across the nation have formed programs, promoted promotions, and launched numerous alluring promotions to attract domestic and international tourists.
