Signing a cooperation agreement between the People's Committee of Hoa Binh province and Viettel Military Industry and Telecommunications Group

DNHN - On the afternoon of March 11, the delegation led by Comrade Ngo Van Tuan, member of the Party Central Committee, Secretary of the Provincial Party Committee, visited and worked with Viettel Military Industry and Telecommunications Group.
At the meeting, the delegates discussed and agreed on digital transformation, and signed the "Strategic cooperation agreement on digital transformation in Hoa Binh province in the period of 2022-2025".
Accordingly, within the framework of the law, and the resource capacity of the two sides, the People's Committee of Hoa Binh province and Viettel Group agreed to cooperate with the following contents: Cooperation in providing solutions, applying using information technology for administrative reform, building e-government towards digital government; Cooperation in the field of telecommunications infrastructure construction and information technology application in smart city development; Cooperate in completing solutions to ensure information safety and security; Cooperation in the field of human resource development in telecommunications and information technology; Cooperation in building smart agriculture; Smart travel; Other cooperation contents according to the needs of Hoa Binh Provincial People's Committee and the ability of Viettel Group to meet.
Colonel Cao Duc Thang, Chairman and General Director of Viettel Group, briefly introduced the process of formation, development as well as achievements of Viettel Military Industry and Telecommunications Group.
Apart from strengthening the home market, the Group has grown into international markets over the years. At the moment, the Viettel Military Industry and Telecommunications Group is focused on four primary areas of activity: telecommunications, high technology, digital transformation, trade - logistics, and other fields.
In collaboration with Hoa Binh province, the Group pledges to ensuring the people, capital, financial, technological, and information security and safety necessary to complete the mission of digital transformation. Additionally, the Group's management recognize the potentials, advantages, and Hoa Binh province's interest and leadership in creating digital government in particular and digital transformation Vietnam in general.
Speaking at the meeting, Mr. Ngo Van Tuan, Secretary of the Provincial Party Committee affirmed and acknowledged Viettel Group's contribution to the development of the province over the years. Especially in the context of the recent Covid epidemic, the application of information technology in direction and administration has been effectively applied (online meeting rooms, paperless meeting rooms,etc).
Currently, the province has developed strong goals and solutions associated with four main pillars: clean agriculture; high-value supporting industries take advantage of its location near the capital Hanoi and abundant labor resources; to develop tourism on the basis of taking advantage of natural resources, green and clean environmental landscapes and a culture imbued with national identity; develop a model of a suburban house.
In addition, Hoa Binh province highlighted digital transformation as a critical challenge for achieving the province's objectives. The Provincial Party Committee's Comrade Secretary hopes that following the signing of the agreement, Hoa Binh province will receive the Group's attention, investment, and consultation support for digital transformation planning; administrative procedure reform; business investment environment improvement; telecommunications infrastructure; and human resource training.
The two parties are dedicated to long-term cooperation, ensuring that the agreement's provisions are implemented in accordance with the agreed-upon timelines.
