Phuc Khang Corporation is busy organizing Mid-Autumn Festival 2022: Proud of the beauty of national culture

DNHN - On the evening of September 10, 2022 (on August 15 of the lunar calendar), Phuc Khang Corporation busily organized the Mid-Autumn Festival for children, residents and employees' families at Diamond Lotus Riverside (49C Le Quang Kim, Ward 8, District 8, HCMC). The event is integrated with many cultural and artistic activities with the desire to preserve, honor and promote the beauty of the traditional festival of Vietnam.

The event to celebrate the Mid-Autumn Festival 2022 of Phuc Khang Corporation was held at the Diamond Lotus Riverside green building campus (49C Le Quang Kim, Ward 8, District 8) with the participation of a large number of children, residents and staff's families.

The program with the theme “Full Moon Festival” was organized to create conditions for children to have the opportunity to have fun, entertain, connect with each other and with previous generations. The festival is also meaningful as a bonding event for the families of employees and residents to have the opportunity to enjoy and participate in cultural and artistic activities, folk games, and review childhood memories.

The Mid-Autumn Festival 2022 is held by Phuc Khang Corporation at Diamond Lotus Riverside with many interesting activities such as: cultural performances - cai luong art, calligraphy art, reenactment of the countryside market scene in the busy city with lively folk games, the stage breaking, the procession of lights that have entered the childhood memories of many generations.

Participating in the festival, children and their families can experience Rural market activities - one of the special memories of generations of Vietnamese who were born and raised in peaceful countryside. At the country market stalls, visitors can enjoy familiar and attractive dishes, as part of the quintessence of Vietnamese cuisine: Cotton Beef Cake, 3-Color Steamed Beef Cake, Pig Skin Cake, Wrapped Leaf Cake, Steamed banana cake, Toasted cassava cake, Baked mung bean cake, Sweet molded cake, Grilled pork vermicelli, Castor cake, Sugarcane juice...

Following the attractive countryside market activities are folk games full of memories. In order to create a festival with many memories and recall childhood memories, the Organizing Committee has arranged a play area with folk games such as: knotting coconut leaves, making to he, bubble clown, statuary art, sand painting... The children were extremely excited when participating in these special activities. With their creativity, intelligence and personality, the children have created extremely impressive, unique and outstanding products.

Following the fun and experiential activities is a special cultural program with the participation of Phuc Khang Corporation staff, iDL children and especially artists and actors who recreate the landscape of the Governor General Thanh Gia Dinh and his entourage visited the countryside market activities, wished the Mid-Autumn Festival to all the people and gave gifts to the well-behaved children. The familiar images and characters in each Mid-Autumn Festival have also been recreated at the stage of the Full Moon Festival such as: Uncle Cuoi, Hang Nga, the jungle tiger or the brave lion... The children and their families enthusiastically participated in the Competition of Understanding: Happy Memories, Mid-Autumn Festival in Literature and Folklore...children and parents could touch the memories of old Saigon like a chicken iron, doorbell more than 100 years ago, moon cake mold, rice measuring liter, fish sauce measuring tool, oil lamp. The reward for participants is Co Ba Saigon soap with a famous fragrance as part of the past.

Interspersed between knowledge-gathering contests are special art performances such as: iDL's cultural performance, Hang Nga dance, fairy dance in procession of lights, Cuoi's advice, modern dance full moon in August... A special highlight in the night of the Full Moon Festival is the integration of the unique and typical cultural heritage performance of the South, the performance of Don Ca Tai Tu, with the participation of Mr. Chau Minh Tam - Lecturer of the Ho Chi Minh City Conservatory of Music with a skillful guitar finger, performed the Mid-Autumn Festival song Lotus Village by composer Ho Nhut Quang (Director of Phuc Khang Corporation's Cultural R&D Department) extremely deeply. The stage of breaking the lantern procession in the sound of horns and echoes, the children's lanterns held high in the autumn moonlight following the group of people like a fairy tale with Ms. Hang, Uncle Cuoi, the Governor, the green forest tiger ... extremely funny.

With the view: “A sustainable future cannot be achieved without respecting the past”, but in parallel with efforts to create genuine green living spaces according to strict international standards, Phuc Khang Corporation also devotes a lot of enthusiasm to transferring sustainable values, creating a green and humane community, preserving and promoting the cultural quintessence of the nation.
