DNHN - When visiting the Northwest, Bản Áng Pine Forest is among the top 10 must-see destinations in Mộc Châu. This year, visitors will be astonished by the remarkable transformations of the Bản Áng Pine Forest Tourist Area (Mộc Châu District, Sơn La).
Nestled on the Mộc Châu plateau, Phoenix Mộc Châu Resort is located at the heart of the Mộc Châu National Tourist Area, enjoying a refreshing and cool climate year-round. Often referred to as a miniature Đà Lạt of the Northwest, Bản Áng Pine Forest spans over 50 hectares, featuring century-old towering pine trees surrounding a natural 5-hectare lake. Here, you can stroll, rent a bicycle, or take an electric car to relax and breathe in the fresh air. The serene and romantic scenery captivates visitors, leaving them with unforgettable memories and beautiful photos.
At Phoenix Mộc Châu Resort, guests are offered a comprehensive range of services, including accommodation, dining, golf, entertainment, and spiritual tourism. The resort is renowned for its 20 uniquely designed bungalows built on gentle slopes. Other impressive accommodation options include hotels, villas, campsites, and stilt houses, all designed with a modern yet vintage and classic touch.
As a project under Phoenix International Group Co., Ltd., the company recognized the potential tourism market on the Mộc Châu plateau. Since 2017, Phoenix has boldly invested in developing a project in Bản Áng Pine Forest (Đông Sang Commune, Mộc Châu District, Sơn La Province). The project comprises a complex of structures, including a 5-star hotel with 150-180 rooms, a culinary restaurant area, commercial services, eco-tourism, a square, entertainment areas, fishing spots, waterfalls, sports facilities, and spiritual zones, with a total investment of over 1 trillion VND. Continuously innovating and leveraging the development advantages of Bản Áng Pine Forest Tourist Area, by the end of 2019, Phoenix launched phase III of the project, constructing adjacent bungalows by the stream, entertainment areas, fishing spots, and waterfalls. Bản Áng Pine Forest Tourist Area has since stabilized and welcomes a large number of tourists. Overcoming the impact of the COVID-19 pandemic, the company inaugurated additional new facilities in early 2021, enriching the amenities and experiences for visitors to Mộc Châu plateau.
After years of effort, Phoenix Mộc Châu in Bản Áng Pine Forest now boasts a new appearance, receiving countless praises from thousands of domestic and international tourists. "Upon arriving in Mộc Châu, I was immediately struck by its natural beauty. The green mountains and fresh air reminded me of Jeju Island and made this place feel very special. The Phoenix Resort, located in a natural ecological area, felt like stepping into a garden from a storybook," shared Mr. Kwon Jae Haeng, Chairman of the Korea-Vietnam Economic Cooperation Committee (KVECC), during his first visit to Mộc Châu.
He added, "The Phoenix Resort offers a unique experience different from usual resorts, leaving an unforgettable impression. This place allows visitors to forget the hectic schedules of South Korea and enjoy a state of complete relaxation. The resort's shimmering night views, the lake, and activities like cycling and electric car rides were particularly enjoyable."
Mr. Kwon also noted that the cafes overlooking the mountainous scenery were highly favored by Korean tourists. Additionally, the opportunity to experience the culture of ethnic minorities was meaningful. Though not professional performances, these cultural encounters provided foreign tourists like him with a deep appreciation of local culture and the warmth of the people.
However, he suggested that more signage would make it easier for international visitors, and he expressed a strong desire to return.
The cuisine at Phoenix Mộc Châu is exceptional, offering unforgettable flavors of the Northwest mountains, such as roasted hill chicken, seven-dish salmon, and grilled local pork, enjoyed around a campfire with warm communal wine and traditional ethnic dance performances. Visit Bản Áng Pine Forest Tourist Area – Phoenix Mộc Châu to experience it for yourself.
