DNHN - On July 16, 2022, in Hanoi, MEATDeli cold meat of Masan MEATLife Joint Stock Company was honoured "with Vietnam Agricultural Gold Brand 2022". This is an annual program organized by the General Association of Agriculture and Rural Development of Vietnam on a national scale.
President of the Vietnam General Association of Agriculture and Rural Development Ho Xuan Hung said that after nearly 4 months of working, the Organizing Committee has conducted a survey and voted for 512 agricultural products from all regions across the country. The Voting Council has selected the most typical agricultural products to award the title of "Vietnamese agricultural gold brand in 2022". MEATDeli chilled meat of Masan MEATLife Joint Stock Company has been honoured with "Vietnam Agricultural Gold Brand 2022".
As one of Vietnam's largest players in the branded meat value chain, Masan MEATLife JSC is currently focusing on improving productivity in the animal protein industry through efficient operations, innovation, nationwide coverage and an outstanding supply chain. Masan MEATLife aims to meet the consumer needs of Vietnamese people with reasonable costs and prices.
At the end of 2018, Masan MEATLife put into operation the first meat processing complex on a scale of more than 10 hectares in Ha Nam province. By October 2020, the meat processing complex in Long An province was also inaugurated. Each complex has a capacity of 1.4 million pigs/year, equivalent to 140,000 tons of pork/year. With a total investment of more than 3,000 billion VND. Each processing complex is applied to modern technology and equipment imported from Europe, installed and supervised by experienced international experts. Here, pigs are cleaned according to European cool meat technology, a closed packaging process with Oxy Fresh 9 technology, so that the meat is always clean and fresh. In the whole process of slaughtering, packaging and transporting to consumers, meat is always preserved at a golden temperature (from 0 to 4 degrees Celsius).
In February 2022, MEAT Ha Nam Chicken Processing Factory with a total area of nearly 1.6 hectares, with an investment of 527 billion VND officially came into operation. The factory is invested in the Marel slaughter line - the world's leading company in meat processing equipment provided by the Netherlands. With a maximum capacity of more than 23 million chickens/year, the operation system of the MEAT Ha Nam Chicken Factory meets European standards and is the most modern system in Vietnam.
Masan MEATLife's distribution network grew with an impressive increase in coverage. Up to now, the MEATDeli brand of cool meat has been present at more than 3,000 points of sale nationwide. These points of sale include WinMart/WinMart+ system, supermarket chain Coopmart, BigC (GO!), Lotte, Aeon, modern retail chains, MEATDeli specialized stores, and other MEATDeli agents.
For 3 consecutive years, 2019, 2020 and 2021, MEATDeli is excellently ranked in the Top 10 Brands - trusted products in Vietnam according to the voting results of Vietnam Economic Times. In 2020, Masan MEATLife was honoured by Forbes Vietnam in the Top 50 Vietnam Value Brands.
