Highlights of the 2024 Dong Nai Provincial Spring Newspaper Festival

DNHN - On February 5 (the 26th day of the Lunar New Year), at Dong Nai Provincial Library, the Provincial Party Committee’s Propaganda Department held the opening ceremony of the Dong Nai Province Spring Newspaper Exhibition for the Year of the Dragon 2024.
Previously, the Bien Hoa City People’s Committee (Dong Nai) also held a Spring Newspaper Exhibition at Bien Hung Park with many Spring newspaper publications for the public to visit.
Attending the ribbon-cutting ceremony were Vice Chairman of Dong Nai Provincial People’s Committee Nguyen Son Hung, delegates, leaders of press agencies, the Provincial Journalists Association, leaders of the Department of Culture, Sports and Tourism, the Department of Information and Communications, and reporters from news agencies in the area to attend and report.
The content of the publications comprehensively reflects the socio-economic development achievements of the country and the people of the localities in 2023 and the innovation of information and propaganda in 2024.
At the programme, the Organising Committee (OC) also commended the outstanding units participating in the 2024 Spring Newsletter and Newspaper Award.
The Spring Newspaper Exhibition is held annually on the occasion of the Lunar New Year at Tran Bien Temple of Literature, however, this year the OC organised it at the Provincial Library with many special publications on the occasion of the Lunar New Year of the Dragon 2024.
In addition, the Provincial Library also organised an exhibition of specialised bookcases: Commemorating the 94th anniversary of the founding of the Communist Party of Vietnam (February 3, 1930 – February 3, 2024); the 110th anniversary of the birth of Comrade Nguyen Chi Thanh; the 45th anniversary of the Southwestern Border Victory; Dong Nai Gazetteer, with 500 copies of published books.
Coming to the 2024 Spring Newspaper Exhibition, people can also immerse themselves in the joyful atmosphere, with a myriad of flowers blooming in the air welcoming the New Year at the Spring Flower Fair.
