EVNSPC exchanges energy cooperation with Australian businesses

DNHN - The Australian Energy Delegation Program to Vietnam in 2023 aims to strengthen the cooperation in the energy sector between Australia and Vietnam, supported by the Ministry of Industry and Trade.
Southern Electricity Corporation (EVNSPC) met with the Australian Energy Delegation on March 29, 2023, in the afternoon, to discuss cooperation opportunities in the field of the energy transition.

Austrade had previously extended an invitation to EVNSPC to participate and collaborate in the Australian Energy Delegation Program in Vietnam in 2023.
Mr. Nguyen Phuoc Duc, General Director of EVNSPC, briefed the delegation on the scope of EVNSPC's operations, its development orientation, and the digital transformation program in the fields of business, customer service, etc., as well as the digitizing power metering technology that EVNSPC and its member power units in 21 southern provinces are implementing.

Mr. Wayne Liubinskas – CEO and Co-Founder of Village Energy presented a solution to integrate and manage home appliances, increase renewable energy on the grid and provide consumers with control, transparency, and savings cost savings.
Regarding the Australian Energy Delegation, Australian businesses, including Gentrack, Power Ledger, Reclaim Energy, Ultra Power Systems, and Village Energy, presented and introduced EVNSPC to the latest Australian energy technologies and solutions. Energy mobility requires energy storage, digitization, and new technologies.
After the meeting, EVNSPC and Australian businesses exchanged representatives to continue exchanging in-depth information and explore cooperation opportunities in the energy sector.
Mr. Duc thanked the Australian Government's Trade and Investment Agency on behalf of EVNSPC for its interest in EVNSPC's activities and for creating favorable conditions for Australian businesses to share solutions and new technologies in the field.
