Ca Mau: Korea 3000 NGO accompanies the welfare work

DNHN - Afternoon June 28th, Ca Mau Union of Friendship Organizations had a meeting and worked with representatives of Korea 3000 NGO (Korea), on the occasion of a series of activities to celebrate the 30th anniversary event of establishing diplomatic relations between Vietnam and Korea (December 22, 1992 - December 22, 2022).

Mr. Nguyen Dong Khoi, Chairman of the Provincial Union of Friendship Organizations, informed about the unit's activities in performing the tasks of people's foreign affairs, as the focal point for foreign non-governmental aid mobilization.

Representative of Korea 3000 Organization, Mr. Park Changil, stated since 2012, Korea 3000 Organization has accompanied and supported the construction of houses for the poor in Ca Mau province, from the support level of 750 USD/house until this year, 2022, has increased to 1,047 USD/unit. In the period 2012 to 2022, 700 homes and 56 rural transportation bridges have been supported for a total of one million dollars.

Mr. Park Changil informed until the end of the year, Korea 3000 will support 22 more houses and 3 rural traffic bridges for Ca Mau province. At the same time, it will also consider increasing the support level for house construction in the near future as proposed by the Provincial Union of Friendship Organizations.
