BIC awarded over 770 million VND in insurance to BIDV Buon Ho loan customers.

DNHN - On September 8, 2023, in the city of Buon Ho, province of Dak Lak, BIDV Insurance Corporation (BIC) and BIDV Buon Ho awarded more than 770 million VND in BIC Binh An borrower insurance benefits to the relatives of customers.

Mr. N.Q.T., a resident of the town of Buon Ho in the province of Dak Lak, is a loan customer at BIDV Buon Ho. After receiving dedicated advice from BIDV staff regarding BIC Binh An borrower insurance products, customers agreed and voluntarily enrolled in loan insurance.

Mr. T. was electrocuted on July 19, 2023, while working in his family's garden, resulting in his death. Upon receiving the news from Mr. T.'s family, BIC Tay Nguyen sent greetings and words of encouragement to the customer's family; concurrently, BIC Tay Nguyen coordinated with relevant parties to expeditiously complete documents and insurance compensation payment procedures by regulations.

The total amount paid to Mr. N.Q.T's family is 770,949,624 VND, including outstanding principal and interest at the time of the insurance event; Loan interest support while waiting for compensation procedures; and funeral allowance.
