Vinh Phuc strengthens support for projects in agriculture and rural areas

DNHN - In recent years, Vinh Phuc province has had many policies to attract investment in agricultural and rural projects to promote the inherent strengths of a province with a long history of agriculture.
Recently, Vinh Phuc Provincial People's Committee approved the livestock development project for the period 2022 - 2025, worth nearly 103 billion VND from the state budget. The project aims to implement tasks to support and promote livestock development, and to increase livestock production value by at least 3% per year.

The project supports policies on disease prevention and control of livestock and poultry 60 billion VND and supports the innovation of production methods including waste treatment, quality certification and product consumption association with more than 34 billion VND. The remaining about 9 billion VND to support improving the quality of livestock breeds, and building disease-free facilities.
The project is expected to contribute to the construction and consolidation of key livestock communes and regions in the direction of concentrated goods, the high economic value associated with improving product quality, and ensuring food safety and hygiene. and protect the environment.
The project will also contribute to the formation of high-quality livestock production chains, gradually building and affirming the brands of the province's key livestock products such as cow's milk, pork, chicken, and clean eggs, raising the value of livestock production by 2025 to about VND 6,500 billion.
It is known that in February 2022, the Vinh Phuc Department of Planning and Investment invited investment to implement projects in the field of agriculture and rural areas according to Decision No. 210/QD-UBND dated January 27, 2022, of Vinh Phuc Provincial People's Committee, approved the list of projects to encourage enterprises to invest in agriculture and rural areas in the province in the period of 2021-2025 (phase 4).
Accordingly, there are 9 projects expected to receive the support of 199 billion VND out of 416 billion VND of total investment, according to Decree 57/2018/ND-CP dated April 17, 2018, of the Government. Among them, the investment project to build IP water supply system inter-communes of Don Nhan, Nhan Dao, Lang Cong, Quang Yen, and Song Lo districts with a capacity of 4500 m3/day has a total investment of up to 95 billion VND.
In addition, there is a project to expand the water supply network in Hop Chau town, Tam Dao district with a capacity of 1600 m3/day, which is called for investment with a total estimated capital of 27 billion VND, the expected support level is about 19 billion VND according to Resolution No. 19/2020/NQ-HDND dated December 14, 2020.
Entities invited to invest include enterprises with appropriate business lines, whose capital under their ownership to implement projects is not less than 20% of the total investment for projects with the scale of use. land of fewer than 20 hectares, not less than 15% of the total investment, for projects with a land use scale of 20 hectares or more.
